    We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.2

    I am still working using Illustrator 2018 version 22.1 until I hear FOR CERTAIN all bugs and issues are fixed in the 2019 update.

    Made the mistake of updating to 2019 last fall, but had nothing but trouble with it, which is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE since I work for a company where I churn and burn through at least 30-60 designs every day.

    Had to uninstall 2019 and reinstall 2018 just to be able to do my job. Still. Waiting. 💸

    Thanks for raising this. We've looked into this issue from our side, but we're unable to reproduce the issue internally so far.

    If you're still seeing it, could you help us with a few details so we can dig in further?

    • Are you still facing the issue? (yes / intermittent / no longer)
    • Machine configuration — OS and version, GPU, and Illustrator version/build
    • Reproduction rate — does it happen every time, or only sometimes?
    • A screen recording of the issue as it happens, if you can capture one
    • The AI file you were working with when the issue occurred (feel free to share a stripped-down/anonymised version if the original is confidential)

    If the issue is 100% reproducible on your machine, we'd be happy to set up a short debug session with you.

    Not for nothing, but I think I might wait to update to 23.0.1 until I hear how it goes for others. Hope that's not a bad thing, I just can't risk having it affect work again. 😬

    I uninstalled 2019 and reinstalled 2018. Just cannot work efficiently while having to restart the software all the time. But thank you Kyle for sharing that they're working on it for us!! I'll just wait until they, hopefully, fix the bugs, and then maybe reinstall 2019.

    We have a feature to popup colors panel when you click on fill/stroke proxy. Please remove the colors panel from the the workspace when it pops-up you should be fine. When I say remove you just have to remove from the dock and keep it as a floating
