    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    Yeah, it's kinda ridicoulus for such an expensive software.
    Are the devs don't do alpha/beta/whatever testing before suppling an update to your paying customers?

    Our pre-press has to create new folders for new jobs like 100 times a day and this is REALLY FRUSTRATING.

    Hi All,

    We have fixed this issue in 24.0.3 version of Illustrator (MAC only issue). Please update to 24.0.3 if you are encountering this issue. For all the other issues which you are encountering regarding the update or the new document dialog or any other please create another User Voice thread for that issue so that we can track it there itself.

    Had the same issue.

    I tried to override a PDF and Illustrator saves it (save dialogue), but the file remains the old one.
    (Finder shows no difference to "Created" / "Edited" date).

    I had to delete the PDF file to save the new one with the same name.
