cmd+shift+n doesn't create new folder in Finder-Save-Dialouge anymore after last update
When you save a file (save as, save, save copy, ...) you can not create a new folder via cmd+shift+n anymore after the latest 24.0.1 "bug fix update" which I received today.
Please fix this again!
(Mac OS 10.13.6 / Illustrator 24.0.1
I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

I'm having this problem with InDesign and After Effects. Photoshop and Illustrator seem to be ok.

Working at home and in the office, both on a 5K iMac (2017). When saving a file. The dialog box doesn't recognise the CMD/Shift N Function to make a new folder. have to click the new folder button. Happens on both computers. only in illustrator. Photoshop/Indesign fine. A small bug, but an annoying one.

@Nathan It isn't fixed in my version either (v24.0.3) and there is no update available

Hmmm. That's interesting. Mine still doesn't seem to be working, and I'm up to date according to my CC app.
Perhaps I just haven't received the update yet.

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLY FRUSTRATING -- I'm moving along quickly saving files only to discover that I've accidentally renamed a document thinking that I'm creating a folder!...Oh YEAH...wait...I need to click a button on the lower left of the window -- even though for YEARS this has been done with a key command that's embedded into my brain! PLEASE FIX THIS

THIS is SO frustrating!! It's creating havoc when the process should be moving quickly! Constantly renaming the file by accident then realize I have to STOP and go to the "new folder" button. aaaarrrggghhh

YES!!! I thought it was my computer... but my other programs are able to perform this action while Adobe isn't. Every update has a rotten egg hidden in it. Please stop doing that.

Please fix this. Not sure how to encourage you to do the right thing here. Do you take bribes? Chocolate or fruit? Please send the shipping address.

@Ankit Goyal when you wrote above that you were able to reproduce the issue 20 days ago did you make a note to fix it? What's the status here?

All the additional time is causing strains in my marriage and could lead to a divorce if this is not resolved. Who do I send the attorney bill to?

Adobe needs to step their game up here. This should have been fixed weeks ago! Making simple tasks less than ideal and ramping up my frustration levels for no reason. They should include yoga and meditation vouchers with your membership renewals in order to bring back some peace of mind.

Since this bug was originally reported I have 11 hours of wasted work flow. At the rate I bill out at, that would cover my Adobe sub for the year.

Flexi also doesn't have this issue. and it's free. Just saying.

Really love the timing here of getting my annual renewal message yesterday. I have to pay up for decreased work flow speeds.
