The line of the vector is far behind the cursor... you feel some kind of delay... and not smooth moving over the canvas by hand tool. here I record the video with this problem: https://youtu.be/mtCttOjDMeM

Adobe Illustrator's Multithreading Journey Begins!
Dear Illustrator Community,
I'm thrilled to announce that we've embarked on an exciting journey to bring multithreading capabilities to Adobe Illustrator. This significant undertaking will enhance performance and responsiveness across various aspects of the application.
While this is a complex process that will take some time to fully implement, I wanted to share our progress so far.
Our Approach
We've strategically begun by focusing on the most computationally intensive operations—those that typically take more time and block the main thread, resulting in slower response times while you work. By moving these operations to separate threads, we aim to significantly improve your overall experience with Illustrator.
It's important to note that you may see more noticeable impact in some areas than others initially. However, we want to assure you that this is just the beginning, and we will continue this journey to bring improvements across…
An error occurred while saving the comment Tomek commentedSTILL NOTHING ! After couple of months ago, type here and on uservoice and beta versions program community. Report this issue to dev team. Nothing has changed...only two things:
1. I have added more ram from 16 to 72 to my iMac 2019 i9 3.6 ghz, 1TBSSD, Pro Vega 48 8GB
2. Bought Mac Book Pro maed out 16 inch with i9 2.4ghz, 1TB SSD, 64gb RAM, 5500 M 8GBÂand... the feeling and laggy illustrator is the same on both those machines. Nothing was improved. Still moving on cavas is laggy, still resizing rectanglem circle, triangle shapes are delayed. Where are more complex document, even the cursor on illustrator is delayed (feels like is drunk and its hard to point on anchor point or on the path).
Photoshop has improved and its really nice to work now but Illustrator is a disaster.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tomek commentedIf will this increase performance of Illustrator it will be cool but Adobe pls fix this issue from video underneath on macs:
Pls check this issue because is hard to work... I'm showing this problem from December 2019 but exist couploe of years... this is ridiculous...

An error occurred while saving the comment Tomek commentedPlease give thumbs up on this video below which I've made to show slow performance and optimization on all macs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBO0pH_ee3A&feature=youtu.be Also leave a comment which model of mac you are using and have the same issue.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tomek commentedHere is the video what I have discouvered. If you want to elimiante the delay/latency when resizignvector shape you have to catch two vector on the same time or convert shape to compound path hehe check the video: https://youtu.be/HBO0pH_ee3A
Adobe maybe you will quicker find the solution for this behavior to fix it... its hard to deisgn the logos :/
An error occurred while saving the comment Tomek commentedYes I agree in 100% on my iMac 5k 2019 i9, Pro Vega 48, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Illustrator is sluggish, have latency when resizing vector objects, moving canvas is really laggy and uncomfortable to work. The same feeling was on Mojave and on Catalina. Now I'm on Catalina because overall experinece with OS is better than Mojave.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tomek commentedHi Adobe engineers I found that guy on You Tube also notice this lag when transforming vector objects. Also on iMac 2019 but with i5 CPU.
Could you please inform me that you found this bug and working on it ? Because I'm heavy working on Illustrator and really need this performance update. Please help Adobe.

What I found is really interesting if you want drasticly speed up performance of Illustrator. Illustrator is much more faster when you are using high refresh rate of the screen. I found this accidentally plugin by side car the ipad pro 2gen (120hz) improved smoothnes and resposivness of the applications. Also decrease much more the delay when resizing object. And yes this is truth, today I have made 2nd test and plugged my gaming monitor (refresh reate up to 144hz) to the iMac and the Illustrator is super fast.
Of course there is a difference when you resize one shapes (rectangle) and when youdraw second and catch both to resie there is a little bit delay but overall experience is awesome on high rate refresh monitors.
This is wired because high refresh monitor are not common in graphic design, because of lack of color accuracy and gamut. The best graphic monitors are on 60hz refresh rate. You have to check this out.
