Also... Currently bespoke settings relate to the installation rather than the file, so if I create settings to output windows icons, I have to re-create on a different device, even though I am using the same document. This seems bonkers given that most designers move between multiple devices routinely - the expection should be that the output settings they have created remain with the file, not the computer.

Would absolutely love to see export settings be saved by the file, or the ability to save user export preference profiles. Across all users it'll save countless hours. The major problem is that the export path is global which is a massive pain if you're working between two files.

This is one of the most annoying thing of export to screens, especially when you are working on multiple projects!

There are now 16 resolutions of an app icon needed for iOS :-( The built in 1x, 2x, 3x does not come close to covering all the cases. And since, this app is still in app design, I've had to iterate on this icon a few times.

Having to re-enter all these sizes each time I want to use Export for Screens has turned in to a serious time sink.

Saving export preferences with the file would be very useful!

This would be very useful! Working on multiple projects it is a nuisance that the export formats are a global setting. For example, one project needs transparent .png at one output size, but another project needs opaque .png at a different output size. If the preference was saved with the file it would help, and it would also help to have custom sets as suggested.

If you are running a previous version to the Adobe CC 2015 released in June 2016 it will not be present.
If you are running a later version, it could be a bug or may have been removed.

I suspect you are running a version released prior to June 2016.

I don't have the export for screens option in my file menu. Is there a special setting I need to enable?

Have presets for other files just like "Adobe PDF Presets" so you can make definitions for a variety of file types.

Alternatively build out the "File > Export > Export for Screens > Format Settings" to include things like resolution, image quality, etc. JPG 100 to JPG 20 should be in these settings and not in the "Export for Screens" dialog.

The IOS and Android presets are a good idea, but I would expand this so people can set up their own default values, and create their own groupings (ex: android, ios, icons, logos, etc.). Instead of just iOS and Android Formats in the "Export for Screens" dialog box, let the use create a custom "Formats" set.
