Find Font window panel - expandable/resizable and searchable
Please simply allow the Find Font window panel to be expandable/resizable. Difficult to tell between the different weights on long font names such as:
Helvetica Neue LT Extended Heavy
vs
Helvetica Neue LT Extended Black
The panel needs more horizontal space or even a tooltip to pop-out the full font name.

Il serait plus commode de disposer d'une boite de dialogue plus grande pour une meilleure lisibilité des fontes disponibles dans le système.

Please add option to enable Font preview on Find Font not just in preferences

I believe it's worse when the the fonts are compressed and ultra condensed that you just can't read it.
And it would be good if we could also type the whole font name to faster locate the font we want in the system and not just the first letter.

Like the one we have in InDesign. So that I don't have to scroll through the font list.

I just posted the same request, so I up-voted this one now that I found it.

(Re: Adobe Illustrator 24.1.3 Mac) It is a constant irritation, here in the year 2020, to be forced to deal with a a modal panel that looks like a relic of Mac OS 9. I am referring to the non-resizable Find Font window, which is so tiny that it cannot even display the full name of most fonts, forcing one to use the control-click preview to find out which style is being referenced. Note in this screenshot the two entries for "Myriad Pro Semibold Conde..." — and this isn't even a long font name. Imagine if it read "Berthold Bodoni Antiqua Semibold Italic". I know this isn't a huge bug, but it is a constant daily annoyance, and it seems like it would be an easy fix (and should have been fixed circa 2005). For example, the same window in InDesign (see second screen shot) has a much wider fixed width and uses a smaller font. It also uses a different method for selecting the replacement font that is arguably much more user-friendly. So why doesn't the Illustrator team just adopt that version in the interest of suite consistency?

It would be nice if the top half of the Find Fonts dialog box could also change height when you resize the box. It only show 5 fonts, and then they're not even in alphabetical order, so it's impossible to find the font you might want to change all instances to. Two screen shots attached: the first is the dialog box when it opens, the second is after I've resized it, but I cannot resize the list at the top...

Would be very helpful for people that have loads of fonts as of course makes it more difficult to scroll to the right spot

I find it crazy that this is still a modal dialogue. But yes, at least make it resizable.

simply add a search field within Find Font (like InDesign etc.)

This has been missing for years, surely it's an easy fix? Please!

I often work with old files containing old versions of fonts, which are not installed on my PC. We now use newer versions.
Names are almost identical, but AI neither propose new one, so I have to locate replacement manually.
I have to scroll this tiny list and search it by eye.
Keyboard typing only scroll to first typed letter.
Please add Search field there.
