Make Recent Color section as in Photoshop
It would be nice to have a thing similar to Photoshop strip of recently used colors, with an ability to quickly convert one or several into proper swatches.
Probably a function that just add all used color into swatches automatically can be useful also, with a clear signaling it is active, to prevent accidental swatches bloating.

A small line of the the last 10 colours I have actively used, thus I can choose from those.Sometimes I don't setup swatches first, and I do not want to use the eyedropper all the time.

Last 10-20 colors and gradients selected or used should be available for easy access. Also easier way to create and have available personal color/gradient swatches.

Jonathan, it seems to be fixed now.
Are you able to assign a color from the Library to a stroke? I am.
Please comment back. -
Replacing a color is available through Recolor dialog.
Recent colors, like in Photoshop, is not. -

Keep a color palette of the last 5 or 10 colors used to quickly choose color in your work rather than using the color picker.

Yeah. Photoshop has it.

Kinda like Photoshop or Procreate but in Illustrator

I'd love for 2 new swatches to become available, and a new feature. The first swatch would be "recent colors" and be auto-generated, showing similar colors grouped. It would have the option to auto-merge similar colors together, and also the ability to adjust 1 color and have it change instances of that color in the art. The second swatches would be an auto-generated group called a "palette/scheme" and this would make it easy to copy color for various css code

If I want to assign a color from a Library to a Stroke, my only option is to make the object's background color the Library color, and then use the Swap Fill and Stroke button.
The Stroke color menu has lots of weird buttons to import colors that I don't care about. Why not replace those buttons with like a Library Colors button, or a Recent Colors button, or *heaven forbid* a color dropper?
My first impression of Illustrator was that assigning colors to things is harder than in any other program I have used in my entire life. This impression remains true even today.
