An error occurred while saving the comment Philipp Jordan commentedAll the repeats, grid, mirror, and radial do not work well for me. It lacks the option to snap the width and/or height to the last item in the row and/or column.
I want to place 20 x 24 items in a grid. This grid should be placed in the center of another item.... This just does not work, due to the fact that you can't set the width precisely to the last item.
Also the smart guides detect only the grid item but not the items within. So far the repeat functions does not make sense for me.

We are excited to announce that this feature is now available in BETA (starting V 29.1.28).
The new 'Generate color info' helps you share color information with others.
To use this, just select the colors from the swatch panel and click on 'generate color info' in the menu options.
You can customise the size, layout, color codes etc.
PS : Currently we only support CMYK values but other color codes such as RGB, HSB, spot vs process colors are in pipeline and we will ship them shortly.
Please try out this feature and let us know what you think!
Thanks
Saurav

It does the following
- getting all "global" swatches used in a selection
- getting all tints used
- calculating the values in different colour systems
- printing each colour swatch including the used tints and colour values, grouped by their parent folder with -

An error occurred while saving the comment Philipp Jordan commentedThis is really important, since the export might take some time sometimes. For me it is just time wasted. I want to work, not wait.

An error occurred while saving the comment Philipp Jordan commentedI am with you.
I do regularly export pngs and weps with a white and a transparent background. It is a pitty.
First, I have to set up the export seperatly
Second, I need to wait for the first to finish to start the next one.Philipp Jordan supported this idea · -

If you have this problem, please try to answer these:
1. Do you have an external clipboard managing app installed?
2. Does this get better if you disable 'Include SVG Code' in Preferences > Clipboard Handling?
3. Do Edit > Paste menu commands get disabled when you try to paste and fail?
4. Does it happen only when you try to paste text, or does it fail for non-text artwork as well?

Adobe Illustrator's Multithreading Journey Begins!
Dear Illustrator Community,
I'm thrilled to announce that we've embarked on an exciting journey to bring multithreading capabilities to Adobe Illustrator. This significant undertaking will enhance performance and responsiveness across various aspects of the application.
While this is a complex process that will take some time to fully implement, I wanted to share our progress so far.
Our Approach
We've strategically begun by focusing on the most computationally intensive operations—those that typically take more time and block the main thread, resulting in slower response times while you work. By moving these operations to separate threads, we aim to significantly improve your overall experience with Illustrator.
It's important to note that you may see more noticeable impact in some areas than others initially. However, we want to assure you that this is just the beginning, and we will continue this journey to bring improvements across…

2017 there were already processors which could handle 8 parallel processes, we have 2021 now and the processors can handle 32 parallel processes easily.
But I have to wait over night to render out some assets. Watching my task manger reminds me of German road construction, 1 guy is working and the other 15 are watching peaceully. At least I can watch render a movie on the other processors in the mean time.Philipp Jordan supported this idea ·
Why is this idea more than a year old and not done yet.
I really need this native in Adobe Illustrator.
