    In versions 29.4 and 29.5, PNG cannot be exported starting from a certain height/width size

  4. Text disappearing in Preview/other Adobe apps

    Updated my version of Beta today.

    After saving a working file it no longer displays text in finders preview, or within an indesign file as a placed graphic. It displays correctly when opened in Illustrator (normal and beta versions).
    Using other devices running Sequoia 15.2 the preview image and indesign file with the placed graphic also appear without text, but opening in Illustrator on that device does show it. So it's not OS related.

    My only work around is to open the file and resave it in normal Illustrator and not the Beta version.

  5. Beta AI exports pictures as skewed and grayscale, with visible parallel lines

    When exporting JPG design Ai ruins the end-file. It is in grayscale and skewed as if would have been printed on bad printer.

  6. Illustrator 28.4.1 SVG Export Changed

    When exporting the SVG with the screenshot Options, the code is generated differently than previous versions. For our company we use SVG files and edit the code and these new svg export files are not working properly once uploaded. I have uninstalled and reverted back to the old version and this has fixed my issue for now.

  7. Export As with Use Artboards now fully include all the object on the artboard and doesn’t crop them as expected

    Something is terribly wrong with Export As.

    For some reason 'Use artboards' no longer works in Beta 294.0.73 as expected. Here, I expect the parts of the circle to be cropped — but the resulting PNG includes all objects on the artboard.
    Happens for other formats and multiple artboards.
    This is PAIN.

    Does not happen in GA build!

  8. Asset Export Not Respecting Individual Assets

    When exporting properly grouped and named assets in the Asset Export panel, SVG, PDF, JPG, EPS, and Ai files will export multiple versions of assets in the file, but PNG files export properly.

  9. Illustrator 28.4.1 SVG bug

    In the latest update to Illustrator, there is an issue with vector artwork becoming distorted when you edit SVG files directly. I seem to be able to save a file as an Illustrator file and then export to SVG with the artwork appearing fine. But if I edit the SVG file directly, the vector art gets distorted and extra points are added randomly.

  10. Exporting artboards to JPEG and opening them in Rush shows duplicate files

    There is a bug in the export process in illustrator. When I export multiple artboards to JPEG and then open them in Adobe Rush, all images look the same. In order to be able to use the images in Rush, I need to open them in Photoshop or other program, re-save them and then I am able to use them in Rush.

    I have been using Ai for over 10 years for work (using my company's account), and the beta version for about a year. Recently, I encountered an issue opening a master design file that is synced with Google Drive. The file was created and saved by me on the same device and software. I have never faced this issue before, so I doubt it's related to an internet or Google sync problem. Even if it is, I believe it should still be reported, as this is quite concerning.   13. Save as... SVG = Distortion Export as... SVG = No Distortion (Illustrator 29.0.1)

    I have read a few other posts regarding SVG distortion when saving an illustrator file (.ai). When I choose, Save as... I get distorted objects when reopening the file. It varies from points, but typically will add an extra point in various locations of the path. Also, as a test, I tried to save the original and undistorted illustrator file (.ai) through the Export as... option and the file saved perfectly with no distortion. A simple workaround, however, the bug needs to be fixed.

  15. PSD Layered export fails no matter dpi or GPU on or off

    Idea?? It's (yet) another bug.
    It's in the title. Have illustrator layered file that need to take into photoshop as layered file for eventual return to Illustrator and eventually AE. But layered export fails every time. Tried 450dpi, 300, 150 72 with GPU acceleration on, and with it off. No joy. Downgraded, no joy. Seriously just no joy.

  17. I lose my work!!

    I was working on my portfolio and the program crashed. I repeatedly tried to save my file but it never allowed me to do so until the program closed, and now I can't find a way to recover my progress. I had never had any issues with AI until this moment and I am very upset!!!
