This fails for me. Illustrator 27.7. Feel like this has been an issue for years. Come on Adobe fix this. Right now, if I select all the artwork (even with Jorge's method below), it pastes in the art board NEXT TO the one I have selected. Now I restarted, and now it only pastes on top of the original artboard I selected from, not the one selected. Absurd. At least I can duplicate artbaords in this instance, but... this time. Please, fix!

When it breaks for me, it posts to the original copied from artboard, not the current artboard. Really really frustrating when I have a looming deadline that was yesterday. Really, after 20+ years of this, I'm ready to learn one of your competitors. Stop with new features and make sure everyday basics work all the time. I swear Illustrator 6 was better than this.

There are now several separate requests made, based on the feedback in this thread:

    1. Regarding adjustable color and opacity for 3D shadows:

    https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/47054086

    2. Regarding presets for each tab in 3D and Materials panels: Object, Materials, Lighting:

    http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/47350001

All those who commented on the topic until October 16, 2023, are already added as voters there. If this is something you want to have for 3D and Materials in Illustrator — please upvote it. If possible — create new requests and bug reports about 3D, rather than commenting here inside. This will help the team to better prioritize efforts on making the feature better. As always — thanks for the feedback! It helps.

Are you kidding me again? I expand a simple turned set of splines, and now they are bitmaps????!?!?!??!?!?! WHAT DO YOU DO TO YOUR OWN SOFTWARE?

Are you kidding me? Deadline in minutes, an I thought ok will wow them with some simple 3D. YOU CANNOT APPLY THE SAME SETTINGS TO MULTIPLE OBJECTS? I want 3 splines to be THE SAME in every respect. WTF Adobe. You've seriously lost it.

This makes no sense as a "fix." What is the use case for ever ever having an artboard NOT snap to pixel, btw? For print, 300dpi nothing matters, anyway. For digital/web it ALWAYS matters if the top XY pixel is perfect. Really, why EVER have an art board not snap to pixel by default? In some 1 in 1,000,000 scenario where someone wants to do pixel work that is NOT aligned at all, then you can have THEM manually change the artboard location. 🙄

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.3.1 which is available worldwide now.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

There is no way I'm turning this feature on or off and restarting if that's the case as "Anonymous" commented below. If I have my document units set to "pixels" and/or pixel preview on I would expect 100% zoom to show me said pixels. If it's to a print unit, and especially with pixel preview off, I would expect 100% zoom to show the physical representation (which is great, btw). But, now doing social media post designs, just makes this horrible to preview/present them in. Please, fix. I mean, the user stories write themselves here. I seriously have no idea what I'm looking at until I open everything in Photoshop after export. Thanks!
