   I just chatted with them through the creative cloud app and they had me turn off the show effects when using pencil setting in the apple pencil settings and it's not crashing anymore.

   The issue has been fixed in a public release 3.0.6.

   Please update it directly from App Store.

   Every time I open illustrator, which is up to date, it either crashes right away or as soon as I choose a tool to use. I’m signed in, the creative cloud is up to date and it still keeps crashing. I tried deleting and redownloading. I tried turning off my iPad and turning back on.
