App crashes
When downloaded, installed and logged in, the app works fine. When I close the app on my iPad Pro 12.9” 2nd Gen, it will no longer open. It keeps crashing when opened. I have to delete and redownload to use it.
iPad iOS is up to date.

My illustrator crashes frequently. The app is unusable at the moment. It doesn’t allow me to do anything.

Basically, I've noticed illustrator runs smoothly as long as we are using it by hand ,the moment we click it with Apple Pencil the application crashes

When I open adobe illustrator app on iPad and open recent work it loads fine, but as soon as i make movement or select a tool it crashes down. I’ve been trying all day. Restarting app, restarting iPad, uninstalling and reinstalling app, checking settings but nothing has worked. Everything has the latest update too.

I have the same problem. The app had problems from the start. I bought the iPad Pro 4th generation with 512 GB mainly to use Adobe products and I am very disappointed. I haven't been able to use Illustrator at all for over 3 days, the app opens, as soon as I create or open a file and want to do something, the app crashes. It's not even possible to click on a tool, if I just move in that direction the app crashes. I don't know what the last update was supposed to do, but nothing changed for me.

App keeps crashing as soon as I try to do one thing, like add a photo. I have a brand new iPad Pro 11”, with the m2 and 512gb. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. This is a big issue. I saved and bought this just to use adobe products on it. Please help.

In a nutshell: The Illustrator Pencil tool lays down anchor points as you draw freehand. Change the smoothing level before you start drawing. On a scale from 1 to 10, 1 is the least smoothing, and will more accurately follow your hand movements on the iPad. A smoothing level of 10 will create very rounded curves. The current iPad Pro (2022) 12.9 is the best iPad for photo editing. It features the latest M2 processor, so it's basically as powerful as a MacBook; Photoshop is not likely to crash on this machine.

The app is repeatedly crashing within two minutes of opening new session. I have the latest version 2.1 installed and iOS is up to date (15.3.1). I’m running the app on a brand new iPad 9th Generation. I have tried deleting the app and its data and reinstalling, but crashing still occurs as frequently. In its current state, the app is unusable.

I am having that problem also. Until a solution is found I’d recommend just signing out of your account every time you are going to close out the application. It’s annoying but at least you do not have to re download it to use it.
