Any time I try to open a new or an existing file, the app crashes. I’ve tried reinstalling it, didn’t help.

Did anyone update to iOS 17.2 recently?

I just chatted with them through the creative cloud app and they had me turn off the show effects when using pencil setting in the apple pencil settings and it's not crashing anymore.

Crashing for me. Only fix is to use finger touch and take off my Magic Keyboard

My app crashes within a couple minutes of using it, and if I try to import an image from my photos it crashes immediately.

I open a document I had set up on my computer to work on my ipad when I couldn’t be home. And it crashes the exact same way everytime. I managed to work on it for about 10 or 15 minutes before this started happening.

-open AI and all loads fine
-open the file I want to work on and it loads ok
-as soon as I move my cursor or touch the screen to select any tool, layers, or other options, it immediately crashes.

Happens the exact same way everytime. Just happened about 10 times. I deleted the app, restarted the ipad, and redownloaded AI. Same thing kept happening. I closed every other app. It is an iPad Pro 12.9” 5th generation. It should be able to handle just AI and nothing else at the least.

Second EDIT: I have an apple magnetic wireless keyboard that I use with my ipad. I mostly use my pen and fingers, but I do use the keyboard some for typing text onto the design or key commands. I also find ther built in trackpad on the keypad better for making flowing lines with the pen tool. It is now crashing when I use this trackpad but crashing much less when I use my fingers or Apple Pencil Gen 2.

I am on a deadline and I cannot do anything in the app. Yesterday I was able to update a few images I created, but the app kept crashing. Today, I can open the app but when I select a project the app crashes.

My pad and app show to be updated. Please fix this concern as soon as possible.

I can't do anything, the app just crashes

I can open a file for just moments before it crashes. Issues began after updating to current iOS 17.1.1. I have restarted, uninstalled/reinstalled the app and the results are the same. This is obviously a compatibility issue that needs resolved.

When can we finally expect the problem to be fixed? it still crashes without me being able to use it once. Since the last iPad update it can no longer be used with the pencil or magic keyboard.

It may be a makeshift thing.

If you are using Apple Pencil 2nd generation.
you may be able to use it by turning off “effect display”!

Adobe Illustrator started crashing after the latest IOS update. I cannot even open a canvas without it crashing on me. Please fix!

Made the mistake of updating iOS and now illustrator crashes and cancels itself out within seconds of opening it. I have iPad Pro 12.9 4th gen. IOS 17.1.1. Please help me fix it i have work due tomorrow!

Tengo el mismo problema y trabajo con la app. Me está atrasando el trabajo. La abro voy a trabajar en un documento , en cuanto toco la pantalla se cierra solo. No me deja hacer nada. Y tampoco larga u. Error de ningún tipo.
Tengo iOS 17 en iPad 12 sexta gen. Con lápiz 2 Apple.

Todo lo último y no anda la app.

Alguien ha encontrado alguna solución al problema?
Tengo la misma situación que los demás, inclusive si abro la aplicación y la dejo sin hacer nada, se cierra sola, provocando perdida de datos.
