While Ai now allows to get this disabled in Preferences > General, with the "Show 'Print Bleed' generative AI button on Bleed", I personally don’t think it’s a full solution (and won’t close the request).
I think Ai should allow to disable this right there, from this icon, and should not force us to hunt the option in the closet.
I also suggest upvoting this request —

Hi Everyone,
The fix has been rolled out and is available in our latest release build – 29.3.0 which is available worldwide now.
Illustrator will now preserve Global colors newly added to CC Library from this release onwards.
What’s new in 29.3: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/whats-new.html
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

This is finally available in Beta 30.6.0.75
When you replace a linked image in Illustrator, you can now choose to apply that change everywhere the image appears in your file (even across multiple artboards and repeated layouts).
How in works:
- Select one or more links in the Links panel and click Relink
- In the file picker, note the 'Replace:' dropdown below the options
- Choose 'All Links (N)' to replace every instance of that file in the document
- Choose 'Selected Links (N)' to replace only the instances you selected
- Pick the replacement file and click Place
Try it and leave a comment if it works and it works like you need it to.
Also, please don’t forget to upvote this request if you are interested — Display copies of links' duplicates as instances, like in InDesign

Hello,
I was experiencing the same problem and tried the latest fixed Illustrator Beta version.
When I tried with previously saved colors from a CC Library, they still turned up as spot colors in a new document.
However, when trying to save a new global swatch color in the same CC Library, opening another new document, adding the newly saved global swatch color to the swatch panel - it popped up as a normal global swatch!
Is there a possible fix where we don 't have to resave all the old global swatch colors in a library?
