Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I absolutely MUST work at 300 dpi. And I also absolutely must not exceed 150% magnification of my image. Except that Illustrator doesn't calculate the scale correctly, which causes us major problems.
Not everyone works at 72 dpi...https://community.adobe.com/questions-652/pourquoi-l-image-importee-n-a-pas-la-bonne-echelle-1548977

Hello Egor Chistyakov, personally, I cannot afford to work professionally on a beta version. I am usually the type of person who does not change versions unless necessary. However, your bug that completely changed the fonts in the document was extremely critical for my work. To fix this, I had to perform the dreaded update to 29.7. I hope it will be officially released very soon, because it's just a monstrous waste of time on a daily basis.

I would add that, as a graphic designer myself, I use the keyboard increment option almost 1,000 times a week. So imagine the number of tabs...
It's just ****. I had to update because the fonts kept changing on their own, and now this. Are you trying to make our lives **** or what?

This change broke the existing method to quickly access the Keyboard Increment value, reported here. The team decided to revert this change until a better solution is found. Please watch this space for further news.

Please set back the keyboard increment to auto selection when using CMD+K. I'm losing a crazy amount of productivity time.
It's a tool that graphic designers use hundreds of times a day.
Unfortunately, I can't provide you with the working file—all my projects are confidential. That's why I've tried to include as much information as possible in the screenshots and the recording of what's happening.
What I can tell you is that I work in packaging, so I have to work with what’s called “multipose”—that is, repeating the same thing over and over—and to ensure consistency across different areas, the transformation effect is useful.
So I have a file with several parent layers; the one we’re interested in is the layer I call “Text,” and on that layer, I apply the “Transform” effect so that all my text is the same across my other poses. There may be other effects underneath, but it doesn’t matter whether there are or not; as soon as there are a lot of different layers with an image in the project, the problem arises.
