Visual glitch in modified text when using the “Transform” tool
When using the “Transform” effect on complex files, the visual display of the actual text does not update. The visual display is not up to date, whereas in the source code (CMD+Y) it is. To update the text visually, you must uncheck the “Transformation” option in the Appearance window, then check it again to force the visual update.
As shown in the attached files, the black-and-white one shows the wired version (with the correct text), and the other shows the standard view (with the text that hasn't been updated)

I just sent an email to the address provided. Given the size of the ZIP file, I created a TransferNow link, the link is valid for 7 days.
Just to let you know, regarding your question about my cursor, it's caused by an Esko plugin (a professional plugin).

Sure, I use the Transform effect for the same exact reason, to avoid using symbols and quickly tile my templates over artboards, in a grid, using 2 effects combined (I’ve started using AG Array plugin effect recently for similar purposes, instead of 2 Transforms).
If you can reproduce you bug in a copy of the document, with the sensitive information replaced with gibberish — it’d help still.
Plus, you can send these files over to sharewithai@adobe.com directly, to keep it private (in this case please mention the link to this report, so they can jump back here faster, http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/51135424) -

Unfortunately, I can't provide you with the working file—all my projects are confidential. That's why I've tried to include as much information as possible in the screenshots and the recording of what's happening.
What I can tell you is that I work in packaging, so I have to work with what’s called “multipose”—that is, repeating the same thing over and over—and to ensure consistency across different areas, the transformation effect is useful.
So I have a file with several parent layers; the one we’re interested in is the layer I call “Text,” and on that layer, I apply the “Transform” effect so that all my text is the same across my other poses. There may be other effects underneath, but it doesn’t matter whether there are or not; as soon as there are a lot of different layers with an image in the project, the problem arises.

I remember having a similar problem, when the outline mode would reveal the true text, and the rendered appearance was lying, but it was long time ago....
Volf, can you please share a test copy of this file, with the minimum amount of elements to get this bug reproduced?
What kind of the effect do you have applied? 'Transform'? I can’t tell why would you use this, so the file is needed, for the team to try to reproduce it.And one more thing — I notice the oddly looking cursor in your video, like the attached image shows... what is this? Never seen it!
