An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Hi Egor, the warning appears every time, even when I start the PC and the only program running is Illustrator.
And to be clear, after dismissing the warning, the files open correctly, at least with the files I've tested so far.
This also happens even if I create a new file from scratch. -

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hi, I think it would be useful to make the generated dimension as a shape and then expand it as needed

The day has come. The latest 30.5.0.102 Beta adds Align To and Distribute Spacing commands into the Object menu.
These also work in actions, can get hotkeys assigned.
A shy message gets displayed when Align To mode is toggled to be sure it’s switched, and the Distribute Spacing dialog allows the set the gap value with the Preview option.
This is a lot, and it now completes the original request.
