Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
Thanks & Regards,

Specifically, when I "Align to selection", I typically expect the alignment to conform to that selection bounding box, but the tool is not currently doing this.
The attached video shows an example of this using left align. The objects get sent somewhere off-screen rather than staying within the bounding box. I've also found the distribute object option changing the bounding box size.
What on earth is happening?

Illustrator TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Sean commentedI haven't had an issue recently. I'll let you know if it goes haywire again.
An error occurred while saving the comment Sean commentedWhen selecting Edit Colors or Recolor Artwork. The resulting window sometimes will not respond to any input, and I can't leave the window by pressing "OK" or "Cancel". I am also unable to save or do anything else on the program (including closing it) without force quitting in Task Manager.
It's not "frozen" per se. The buttons still light up suggesting the program is working, but the buttons don't respond to any input.

I would like to add in for this request. I work from a central server, and it would save me massive amounts of time to be able to export to the folder where my .ai file is located rather than the last location. Even better would be multiple options about the default export folder.
The current setup is garbage.
