    Thanks for reporting the issue. We have tried the scenario and failed to reproduce it,it would be helpful if you could provide some more information-

    Is this happening on win 7 only?

    Have you tried cleaning the preferences and re launching the application?Does that solve the issue.

    Have you encountered this issue with the latest Illustrator build?

    Hi All,

    Apologies for coming back to this so late.

    Thanks to Illustrator user “Uma” for helping us out to make this issue reproducible at our end.

    As a workaround I suggest you to rename one of the preference file which is causing this issue:

    1. Quit Illustrator if it is already launched
    2. Go to the following location in finder:
    • /Users//Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator 23 Settings//DVADialogPrefs/
    3. Please rename the file DVADialogPrefs.xml to DVADialogPrefs_old.xml
    4. Launch AI and create a new document
    5. Open the File >> File Info dialog

    Note:
    USERNAME is your machines user name
    LOCALENAME is the AI language in which the app is installed
    If you have different version than 23 then the file will be in another similar folder.

    Clicking the small hamburger menu on the Linked Files list and selecting "Link File info" causes the application to become unresponsive;, no clicks, taps, or keyboard inputs register. Have to force-quit and reboot Illustrator.

    We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.

    Red screen on file open still happening, Illustrator Public release 22.1.
    Requires a window-resize to display document properly. (I do not and will not use the "Application Frame")
