An error occurred while saving the comment Rixn commentedNot good for very complex nested symbols. I have illustrations that takes over night to update all the symbols (could be thousands). Is should not be default but as an option.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rixn commentedThe boundary of a Symbol includes hidden objects from i e clipping masks. That is very troublesome. It should keep the same boundary as the symbol had prior to being made a symbol.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rixn commentedSymbols: Make the bounding box of Symbols follow the visible object, not the hidden ones.

The issue is no longer happening in Ai Beta 28.4.0.8
An error occurred while saving the comment Rixn commentedThe very purpose of symbols is to reuse multiple instances of them. Sometimes I need to creak the link to the symbols, but I can't do it by selecting all of them and then break the link. I have to do it one by one. This is a problem when I have hundreds of symbols.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rixn commentedThere should be an option to choose between two ways for the connector line to connect to the shape - one is like it works for example in Powerpoint (to the edge of the shape, with different position options), and the other way should be to the center of the shape, but not visible inside the the shape. This allows the shape to be moved around without needing to change connector position.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rixn commentedWhen they do, it has to have an option to connect to the center of an object so object kan be moved around without having to change the connector point.

The choice of the type of a symbol is sticky in the latest version of Illustrator. If a user toggles it to Static, it remains Static when another symbol is created — and vice versa.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rixn commentedVery bad suggestion. Symbols is all about reuse - then let's focus on that.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rixn commentedNo, no, no. The very idea of using Symbols is to being able to reuse them.

I want to be able to group symbols into folders (collapsible).
Further improvement would be to add meta tags and and a filtering function.
