  1. Able to specify triangle inner angles

    Would it be possible to have an 'advanced' triangle dialogue box where you can specify the angles?. I often need to use this for creating conical cutter guides – I know I can use the rotate tool and use strokes, but feels like it could be much easier as it's very long-winded.

  2. Rotation of Subset of Shape Anchor Points via Direct Select

    Once you select multiple anchors on a path (but not all of them) you should be able to rotate only those anchors. Currently it's possible to move the anchors but not rotate them.
    Ex: You have a path creating a shape of a full body silhouette of a person with the face in profile. The face is looking straight left. You want to adjust the face to be looking more upward. Select the anchors that make up the head then new feature rotate those anchors so the head is tilted upward. Bonus Once you're in the rotate interface, have the…

  3. Disable geometry size limit for corner widgets

    It seems like there is a hard limit on the object size for corner widgets.
    Take a look at the GIF:
    when my shape is 1.42 px tall — I can see the widgets,
    but if I make it 1.41 px — widgets vanish... and it doesn’t matter if I zoom in, they won’t appear!
    It makes it very inconvenient when designing pixel art, icons, small things... This should be screen-based, not geometry-capped!

  4. No puedo cambiar el tamaño de los objetos

    Desde hace unos meses que no he sido capaz de volver a utilizar illustrator porque NO ME DEJA CAMBIAR EL TAMAÑO DE LOS OBJETOS/ELEMENTOS. Esto quiere decir que para mi caso, la palicación se ha vuelto inútil. Supongo yo que es un bug de mi programa pero inlcuso desinstalando y volviendo a instalar. No funciona. Esto es muy frustrante y he tenido que migrar a otras aplicaciones de diseño, y francamente lo odio. Alguien me puede ayudar por Dios??? Eso es DESESPERANTE.

  5. Support all pie functions Ellipse offers for other live shapes

    There a few things circular pies need in Ai:

  6. Reverse Pie with Opt/Alt when creating or editing an ellipse

    It would be nice if, when holding Option/Alt, the opposing piece of the pie opens or closes symmetrically, similar to how the option modifier switches drawing shapes from the corner to the center of the object. Option+Shift would add a snapping behavior to the symmetrical pie.

  7. Allow to copy the area value from the Info panel

    Why can we copy a HEX color from the Color panel, but can’t copy the area of it (or any other value as well)?

    In some cases we need to get the value to share with someone, and now Ai wants us to retype it.

    Sometimes we also need these to be placed on canvas — but I think it’s a job for the Dimension tool? Why Measure and Dimension are different tools in the first place?

  8. Need Save As... in Edit Toolbar options

    I use saved toolbars, but they are tedious to create because when you click New toolbar... you get a blank toolbar and then have to add each tool one by one. I would like to open an existing toolbar (like Advanced) and have the option to Save As... under a new name - then, I can remove the tools I don't want and save it. Better to work from a starting point, than have to start from scratch.

  9. Remove quantization / rounding for the Curvature tool

    Curvature tool is handy, but it places new points based on a hidden grid. The grid is screen-spaced, and it means the step of it stays the same on the screen, no matter what level of zoom we have.

    Once a point is places and the mouse button / pen is released, we can move this point freely, with no rounding!
    Why can’t we have this behavior for new points? Why limit new points in precision?

  10. Add an option for Curvature tool to prioritize the currently selected path

    Curvature is one of the more recent tools Illustrator introduced (well, in 2014... time flies). Unlike older tools, it tries to be smart. One of this 'smart' behaviors is an ability to both select and edit paths. It prevents us from placing the next point of the currently selected path right above an existing unselected path — the tool treats it as an attempt to select the latter.

  11. Scale tool with value input and custom anchor

    I'm not necessarily looking for a script—I’m just curious if a tool could be developed to enhance Illustrator’s Scale tool. Specifically, I’d love the ability to input a custom scale value (e.g., uniformly 125%, 100% height, 20% width, etc.) while also being able to position a custom anchor point, as currently available in the Scale tool.

    I understand that the Transform Each function allows users to select individual objects, input values, and place an anchor point. However, this feature has limitations:

    The anchor point can only be placed within the object's bounds.

    What's shown is a way to take a 2D drawings and converting it in Adobe Illustrator a turn around version from the 2D to 3D art.

  14. Add a 'Single Midpoint Anchor' Tool in Illustrator

    Request: Add a tool or command that allows users to add a single anchor point precisely at the midpoint of any selected path segment without affecting the entire shape.

    Why It’s Needed: Illustrator currently lacks an intuitive way to place an anchor point exactly between two existing anchor points. The "Add Anchor Points" command applies to all segments, and the Smart Guides often fail to indicate an accurate midpoint. Manually calculating coordinates is impractical.

    Suggested Implementation:

    • A new "Add Midpoint Anchor" option in Object > Path that works on a single segment.

  15. Shortcut with Cmd to select a tool

    Shortcuts with Cmd keys

    Please please make it possible to use the Cmd key to make shortcut to select a tool. This is crucial for working quick and efficiently. I know about the V and the A for choosing Selection and Direct Selection Tool, but when you are working with text, you cannot use these. Then you have to go the long way up to the tools panel to choose these. This make you work really slow.

    In Indesign it is easy to make this shortcut. In Photoshop and Illustrator it is prohibited. Please make this small adjustment to Illustrator…

  16. Allow Join Tool to join selected open diverging paths with a straight connection

    The Join Tool isn't working as it should. It trims extra paths but it doesn't join the anchor points.

  17. Allow to customize created dimensions more: move and style text, reposition lines, change units and scale, etc.

    The functionality of the Dimension Tool needs to be improved. I think this tool should be made even more customizable. Example: Numbers and fonts should be able to move, rotate, change its style (add stroke or box it). We need to be able to easily change the units of measurement directly in the settings of the tool itself. Also lines with dimensions should be able to move arbitrarily (up and down) with Direct Selection Tool.

  19. Can Dimension tool measure angles for open intersecting paths?

    I'm finding it frustrating that it appears that the Dimension tool will not give me angles from open shapes, i.e. 2 intersecting lines.
    Am I doing something wrong for is this something anyone else is experiencing?

  20. Allow to have zero extension value for the Extension Lines for Dimensions

    For some reason there is a minimal value we can set for extensions above the dimension line — 0,01 pt.
    I want it to be zero.
