    It would really open up Illustrator to a brand new superior level for not just technical illustrator artists, but other artists that would like to see their drawings in a vectorize art form where they could really explore blending and shadings, instead of just typically relying on pixalated, or rasterized form to perfect their drawings.   2. Improve Blob Brush

    Hi, I use very often the Blob Brush tool, I think it could be a real plus to make more with it. First, to add constraint between 2 points of click . Two, make more steps between precise and rounded in the option panel. and Three make the same thing for the eraser too, because it seems to be the same as the blob brush but in negative. Is it technically possible?

  3. Adaptive pressure variation for the Blob Brush

    I would love to define the size variation of the Blob brush with percent instead of pt.

    It´s pretty anoying when I´m painting with e.g. 6pt brush and a size variation by pen pressure of 3pt ( 50%) and after changing brushsize to 3pt the pressure variation stays at 3pt. So i have to manualy adjust it to 1 or 2 pt.

    It would be great to give it a percentage so I could define it maby with 60% to have the same feeling how the pen pressure effects the brush size when scaling the brush up and down (there…

  5. Disable bristle brush warning

    Whenever a document contains any bristle brush (or expanded bristle brush strokes) you get a warning when you save the document that it contains complex shapes etc.

    Could you please make it possible to completely disable this warning?

    I know you can tick "Don't show again in the current session" but that's not enough. The warning pops up again the next time you open the document and working on multiple documents containing bristle brushes gets quite annyoing in the long run.

    Wouldn't it be logic when the Width Tool could be used to fine tune brush strokes?

  7. permit higher resolution art brushes

    Currently art brushes are limited to 1000x1000 pixels which results in jagged edges if the brush image is used directly. Permit the use of much higher resolutions. This would increase the functionality of the brushes which currently look quite artificial.

  9. Better fine tuning blob brush

    Hello,
    I would like to have a better setting option for the accuracy of the blob brush. The middle setting is actually too straight for me. Lines are straightened mercilessly. If you move the slider one point to the left, they are not straightened enough. That's why it would be great to have four additional options (see screenshot, red lines).

  11. Make the eyedropper appear with the Brush / Blob Brush tool selected by holding the Alt / Option key

    With the Brush or Blob Brush tool selected, make the Eyedropper appear by holding down the Opt / Alt key. This would allow colors within the document to be sampled just like in Photoshop, without having to keep selecting from the swatches.

    It would be awesome if we could use Photoshop brushes in Illustrator. I spent at least an hour looking for a teardrop/raindrop brush for illustrator but couldn't find one.

  15. Make symbols work in brushes

    When you save symbol as brush, it stops being symbol.
    This makes impossible live update of the brush, when brush changes as soon as you make changes.

    Making symbols stay symbols in brushes seems to be the easiest way of having such a behavior in AI.

  16. Blob brush ability to do a size smaller than 1 pt and make it more interactive

    I often need a blob that is smaller than 1 point. The ability to go smaller would be wonderful!

    I use it a lot to "paint" wispy calligraphic lines.

    I often use the brush with equal width and height because any other setting slows me down as I change the angle I "paint in". If there was a way to interact without going back to the dialogue box it would be more efficient. It is slow and "clunky" otherwise.

  17. Ability to set line width based on the angle of the line

    I'd like to be able to set the line width based on the angle of the line, so if the line width is 10 pt on horizontal lines, and you set it so it's 90% of that on vertical lines, it automatically sets it to 95% on 45 degree lines etc.

    In the example image you'd just have to draw a circle, set it to a 10 pt line and then set the thickest point (vertical) to 400% of the thinnest part (the horizontal).

    The controls for this would be simple, all you need to be able to do is…

    This effect can be achieved with Calligraphy brushes. Set one up in Brushes panel, use angle 0, change the size to be the thickest weight you want, and use the roundness value to change it at thinner horizontal parts. If you want 4x difference, set it to 25% of the set size. Done — apply it to any path you want.

  18. Turn off small circle on brush tool

    How can I turn off the brush size indicator circle at the end of the brush tool? It is very annoying, lags behind brush and can't see drawing as well.

  19. Straight lines with Blob brush, like in Photoshop (Shift + click end point)

    If only I could draw a straight line (not only 45 or 90 degrees), by holding shift + clicking the desired end point of the line, LIKE IN PHOTOSHOP, I am working with the blob brush tool (the most useful tool for me) and a Wacom tablet.
    Use the line tool you say, NO THANKS, I need to stay with the blob brush tool
    to work intuitively, PLEASE, this is actually a major limitation, why would we only want straight lines at 45 or 90 degrees? .... PLEASE check it out out, it really is essential!

  20. Change Art Brush Angle

    Currently when using an art brush you can only change the direction the brush going in 4 directions. I wish I could make the brush go in any direction or angle I wanted. You can do this on the procreate app on iPad so I am surprised that it cannot be done in Adobe Illustrator.
