Dark / Light mode (theme), both automatic and manual, with full support for dialogs and menus
Now that operating systems support a real light/dark mode, it would be really nice to have this option enabled automatically in any Adobe products when I switch from light to dark and vice versa in my system preferences.
It would be even cooler if you added an option to change the interface automatically depending on the time of the day.
Currently even when settings these up manually to dark, many menus and dialogs still show up as light.

Please join the rest of the software development world in supporting a unified dark mode experience on Windows 11. The menus are currently glaringly bright with dark mode enabled and affect color perception. In a design app , this is not good. Please note that Adobe Acrobat already supports this, why doesn't this capability extend to Creative Suite Apps?

It is dark for me. Can you provide a screenshot of how it looks for you?

The existing title bar is white, enabling dark title bar will help us get a more unified UI.
The Technology Path
Since Windows 10 1809, Microsoft has provided an API for modifying only the color of the window title bar.
The method reference is
stackoverflow.com/questions/39261826/change-the-color-of-the-title-bar-caption-of-a-win32-applicatio...Documentation see
docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/dwmapi/ne-dwmapi-dwmwindowattribute 3At the same time, this API does not affect compatibility with older versions, and on Windows 7 or earlier versions of Windows, the API will not work and will not cause strange errors.

The open and save dialogs currently appear light when the OS is set to dark mode. Can you fix this?

While the UI section of the preferences does allow you to change the UI of Illustrator to a darker theme, when will the Open and Save dialog boxes match the dark UI of the operating system for Mac OS Catalina. Here is a screenshot to display the Save dialog box. This is not a dark theme to match the system UI, however, Photoshop does (here are the screenshots while using the dark mode UI in Adobe and in the Mac OS Catalina).

PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN. As a designer it's really frustrating watching my adobe windows look out of sync with the rest of the OS. Cosmetics matter with creative software!

I second this. I use Mojave's dark theme, and it's jarring that the window prompts still use the Finder light theme.

This would be a great feature. In addition, macOS Catalina now includes an 'Auto' option for light/dark mode.
