1. Reduce & refine the SVG code that Illustrator exports!

   Illustrator creates bloated and messed up SVG code. Please Adobe, make Illustrator so it Exports much cleaner and simpler code.

   I'm working with a team of developers and they mock the SVGs I'm giving them. They won't even use many of them, because every single KB matters, and when an SVG file goes from 10KB to 50kb to 100KB, it makes a really REALLY big difference when including in an application or website, so much so, that the developers refuse to use some of my SVGs!

   I've attached a script generated SVG (Clean) and the same exact file after being opened and saved within Illustrator. The code from 51KB -to- 65KB. That's enough to fail ...and look at that code! The Illustrator exported (Save As...) SVG is a mess! Illustrator completely ruins the arcs and circles!

2. Make Illustrator remember Export As settings

   Please make Illustrator remember user workflow: I export hundred times JPGs for client preview, and each time i have to manually change CMYK setting to RGB, click color profile, etc... hundred times a day, each day...

3. Saving/Exporting PDF as separate pages

   When saving PDFs, can we have same menu and options as when saving Ai files:
   - Separate artboards into individual files (using range) (InDesign has it)
   - INCLUDE the artboard names with each page
   Please, please, please. We've been using Ai as print files for years, because PDF is lacking this

4. Export multiple Illustrator layers into Photoshop's PATH Palette, as multiple PATH layers, in one command

   Instead of the current and ONLY way to bring a path from Illustrator to Photoshop (copy the layer in IL and paste it in PS, one by tedious one), how about an EXPORT IL LAYERS to PATHS PALETTE IN PS option in the dropdown? Or, if you can't do that, how about adding an option to save an IL file with a 'new' file extension (.pal?) which would open in PS with ALL the Illustrator layers intact, separate and distinct, AND STILL ALIGNED WITH EACH OTHER, in the Photoshop Paths Palette?

6. Export for Screens in AI should be just like PS's Version

   PLEASE make the export for screens function precisely like the one used in Photoshop.

   In particular:

   (1) it needs to be possible to export at <0.5x, which is currently the upper limit. If I am producing assets for iOS @3x for whatever reason -- say, they include an unscalable PNG from PS for instance -- to produce the 1x asset I need to export @0.33x, which you don't allow, but PS does. (less important but also mind-boggling is why you don't allow upscaling beyond 33.3x.)

   (2) The default export option should be to export to the SAME FOLDER IN WHICH THE FILE IS SAVED. This ridiculous omission costs me valuable time every time I have to export files in different locations. PS also has this correct.

   (3) Your defaults should be the default and they should change based on the file I have open, not based on the export options I had selected for the last file I had open, e.g. if I choose to export File A as 1.0x, 0.67x, and the aforementioned impossible 0.33x, the next time I export those options should NOT now be the default for an entirely different file, where most likely 1x, 2x, 3x are appropriate.

   PLEASE make the export for screens function precisely like the one used in Photoshop.

   In particular:

7. Automatic "Generate assets" option like in Photoshop

   Photoshop's "Generate assets" workflow is a godsend, and it would be just as amazing to have something similar in Illustrator.

   Adding an extension to the name of an artboard or layer (.png, .jpg, etc) and have it automatically export would be incredible, especially when working with a dozen artboards that need to be exported every time there's an amend (for icon libraries, banners, etc).

8. Spreads

   It would be very helpful to be able to make a PDF and set it to "spreads" as you can in InDesign. When designing large display graphics that are made up of individual slices being assembled after printing, it makes proofing more difficult when art boards stay separate pages in the resulting PDF.

9. Export Symbols

   There should be a way to export symbols as png. svg. jpg. etc. In a similar way as the Asset export. Ideally using the name of the symbol.

11. Import SVG fill-rule="evenodd"

    This is a major problem for having SVG look correct.

    Please import fill-rule="evenodd" properly. Test case of an "O" that imports incorrectly (as fill-rule="nonzero") without the hole in the middle. Illustrator gets this wrong, but XD imports it properly. Some additional issues:

    1. Ref-ing the same mask crashes Illustrator.
    2. Nested masks don't import properly.
    3. Gradient and image transforms and patterns (fit/fill/tile) don't import

12. An option to choose if the Artboard background color should be exported, for each format, including PNG

    When exporting an artboard to PNG, I hope there is an option to follow the background color of the artboard itself. I thought the purpose of the new update is to be able to use that same background color when exporting. I still need to add a shape with the background color that I prefer before exporting.

    Hey there. Don't know if anyone here also follows After Effects news, but they just added something pretty cool :

    Now import OBJ 3D model files from your Libraries into your compositions
    In addition to GLB and GLTF, the capability to add 3D model files from your Libraries into your composition is now extended to OBJ 3D model file format. You can add OBJ 3D models to your Creative Cloud Libraries from Adobe Stock, your local system, or your After Effects projects.

    That makes me ask if we'd have a chance to get a "+ add 3D object" to the + button in the CC libs panel.

16. Extract missing links from Ai editable PDF when opening it in Illustrator

    PDF's saved from illustrator with 'preserve illustrator editing capabilities' do not embed any linked raster images in the Illustrator compatible component. When the PDF is opened in illustrator for editing, a message alerts that the links are missing, and low res images show when opened. The links are present in the PDF portion of the file and can be extracted manually and relinked. Might be a big ask, but it would be more ideal that Illustrator recognises the links are contained within the file, and is able to extract them automatically and embed them into the Illustrator component during opening.

17. Return Adobe Draw!!!

    Hello, I have been using Adobe Draw for 4 years until January 10.2022. I am extremely disappointed with its closure and its replacement with Fresco, which is not even available for Android users.
    Over 4 years of work, everything is ruined because my projects are saved as JPEG and the function to download as PNG does not work
    I searched for thousands of applications, none of them is the same as Adobe Draw or at least a little closer to it. Millions of people in Bulgaria used it for various purposes and after closing it you broke everything

18. Please restore the DXF import capabilities as it behaved in previous versions up to V25.0.1

19. Save all modified files simultaneously

    I would like to see the option for "Save All..." added to the file menu. There are many times when I am preflighting and prepping multiple open files related to the same project. Instead of cycling through to each file and saving, I would like to have the ability to save all modified files at the same time.

20. Export Selected Artboards

    Instead of having to note all the artboard ID numbers, it would be nice to select the artboards needed (with Artboard Tool on canvas or in panel) then Export Selected for Screens, or Export As, to have these selected arboards automatically chosen.
