Freeform gradient doesn't work with Recolor Artwork
There is no way to recolor the gradient points in the Freeform Gradient in Color Guide → Recolor Artwork. This is very problematic when you try to apply a color group to the gradient. It works very well with regular gradients, but not with freeform gradients. I think this needs an update or else it will be very time consuming to edit all the colors of a freeform gradient.
Recolor now can be used for Freeform gradients correctly, allowing access to all colors used in it.

commentedSecond this. I was expecting this to work just liekin linear and radial gradients, but was sorely dissapointed.

commentedAs with other colors/gradients, it would be ideal if the new Freeform gradient can be adjusted with the Recolor Artwork tool. For example if I have a monochromatic red gradient setup and want to duplicate it identically but shift it to a monochromatic blue setup, I don't seem to be able to do that currently. When selecting the freeform gradient affected shape, the Recolor Artwork tool doesn't change anything. Please allow Recolor Artwork tool to shift/adjust the color of a freeform gradient. Thanks!

Hans commented Just wanted to add that it works perfectly fine to recolor a gradient mesh this way so it doesn't make any sense that it does not work on a freeform gradient.
