We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedIt is possible with Appearance to create and store Graphic Styles… but the InDesign way is so much more slick and feels like it should be a no brainer to include in Illustrator.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commentedI find it strange that there is no "OK" button on the simplified view. I like the addition that you can weight colours, it stumps me and I don't know how you recommend that the dialog shold be exited. It seem to work OK, and I am glad the legacy dialog is there and that I can coohse the legacy setting as the default.
The similarity to the Colour Theme panel is also a little confusing.
Would be nice to have some way to wight colours even in the advanced dialog, but I guess that is when I drag swatches to a row, and that's fine.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

When rotating a stroke with multiple gradient strokes if no stroke is selected in the appearance only the gradient on the bottom stroke is rotated with the shape. If you select another stroke in the appearance stack, then that stroke will rotate with the selection, but as you say it will only rotate one stroke when the shape is rotated (if no stroke is selected in the appearance pannel or multiple objects are selected it will rotate the bottom stroke, in each object). This problem also persists grouping several of these strokes. Expanding line to shape does not help either. Only killing the shape by expanding appearance allows the line to rotate with multiple gradient strokes to rotate all the strokes. An error occurred while saving the comment Lukas Engqvist commented(After further testing after seeing the video I understand this comment was wrong)
I suspect it is not an error, it is dependant if the object or the path is selected. switch to the Selection arrow to make sure the objects are selected before rotating. If you only rotate the path the gradients will not follow. -

https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/data-driven-graphics-templates-variables.htmland also (Vasily Hall has many great videos including one where Chrome plug-in is used to drive variable date in Cinema Plugin)

For finishing a logotype where "paint inside" has been used expanding appearance and paint inside will not work. (Some instances it is faster to just rasterise and live trace even if this gives much deteriorated quality.)
Expanding apperarnce of makes the objects insde behind the original object. If I would merge I do not get the stroke. There must be some way to make an "expand/flatten/merge" a complex form without having to reconstruct.
