2. Eyedropper, bounding box, shortcuts don't work, Text tool messed up...

   Illustrator CC 23.0.2 - Mac Mojave

   1) The eyedropper tool is pretty much useless, because it doesn't work on groups. I need to ungroup everything or make a compound path. This is very annoying.

   2) the bounding box sometimes disappears and I cannot bring it back with the usual shortcut, i have to do it manually, sometimes even that doesn't work and I have to restart Illustrator. Also, the bounding box cannot be reset on objects like a perfect square when it's rotated 45 degrees. That means I cannot scale it properly. And also the bounding box always gets stuck on clipping masks, but in the dimensions of the objects inside the mask, so there's a (usually) big bounding box that i cannot deactivate if i click anywhere, it only goes away when i scale the object and then go a step back (not sure if I explained it well)

   3) Some shortcuts don't work, like the one for hide/show guides. When I use command + ; it's opening the preferences window instead of showing the guides.
   Hiding windows used to be command + T, now that just opens the text options. The shortcuts for showing/ hiding bounding box doesn't always work, just sometimes.

   4) The text tool is messed up. After a while of working on a text field, the selection doesn't work properly. For example, I have a sentenced highlighted to make it bigger or change the color, but the changes are being applied to a completely different text field that is not even activated. Or the change doesn't show at all. At this point, everything gets screwed up and I have to restart Illustrator.

   5) Toolbar is mixed up. (only on Mac Mojave)Tools that I never use are at the top, i can only get the path tool through the dropdown menu. Same goes for Magic Wand. I have to search for tools now...Erase and scissors are in two different places, when they used to be in the same. not sure though if this is a bug or a "great new update", anyways i cannot drag the tools to other positions.

   I've had all of these problems (except the ones with text tools) for about a year now, and on an older mac versions too. I use El Capitan at work and Mojave at home, both with newest CC versions, both with similar problems. Only With Mojave I have even more bugs, which is frustrating because I thought the newest mac version would be most compatible.

3. Illustrator loses focus after editing in group

   When a group is double clicked to edit inside (isolation mode), on leaving isolation mode the Illustrator application loses focus and clicking on any tool has no effect. To regain focus the icon in the Windows Taskbar has to be clicked.

4. ILLUSTRATOR CRUSHES WHEN I CLICK ON THE BRUSH TOOL.

   Illustrator crushes everytime I click on the brush tool. I have reinstalled the Illustrator and its not working. I am using a hp z800 running windows 10 with Nvidia Quadro K2000 as my gpu. Please Please Help

5. Guides disappear until file is reopened

   I've created an isometric grid for illustration and converted the grid lines to guides. When I leave my document open for a while (maybe an hour or more) and come back to it after a lull in activity, my guides seem to be gone. The "Guides" item in the "View" menu is grayed out, and the keyboard shortcut Cmd+Shift+; to toggle guides on and off does not work. Nothing is hidden or locked in my document. Closing and reopening the document immediately fixes the issue, with guides toggling on off when prompted. There's clearly a bug here, figured I should flag it! I'm in Illustrator v. 23.0.1.

6. Wacom incaccuracy when resizing objects

   Wacom (Intuos5 - L - newest drivers)
   Clean OSX high sierra
   MBPPRO mid2015
   New illustartor

   There is some bug with precise operating with wacom.
   I can't resize simple object with bounding box.

   When i try to do this, in 99% cases object is rotating instead of resizing.

   When i use trackpad - there is no problem.

   cc, cc2017 / 18 / 19 Still innacurate precision.

7. Toolbar panel won't stay long & skinny when docked

   The toolbar panel on the left, when docked to the left side of the screen, will not stay long & skinny (after pressing the double arrow) when I close and reopen Illustrator. It always goes back to short & fat. If I undock it, Illustrator remembers the orientation just fine. This happens even when I save a new workspace.

8. Centering guides

   Illustrator CC 2019 - 23.01:
   When guides are grouped it is impossible to center this group in de page by using the "alignment on artbord tool". This was working until Illustrator 2017.

9. Using the Direct Selection tool on a path, whilst holding ‘shift’ to drag causes crashes/can’t preview.

   Mac Mojave 10.14.1 > Illustrator 23.0.1.

   This issue does one of 3 things:

   1/ the path repeatedly snaps back to the origin (Annoying).

   2/ the path extends vertically top to bottom off the artboard causing ‘cannot preview’ issue. Although this is fixed with an undo and selecting view using GPU/CPU (Really Annoying).

   3/ Illustrator hangs and becomes unresponsive (basically hammers my system resources) and I have to force quit or it just crashes (Ridiculously Annoying).

10. Draw Inside Object problems

    I am working on an Apple Mac OS Sierra Version 10.12.6.

    In Illustrator I can't use the draw inside objects, Draw Normal and Draw Behind are enabled, not Draw Inside?

11. Can't change corners or terminators for pattern brushs

    Using Illustrator CC 2019 (23.0.1 64 bit) on Windows 10 Pro
    OS: Windows
    Version: 10.0
    System Architecture: x64
    Built-In Memory: 16253 MB
    I am creating a custom pattern brush with simple shapes and when I try to change a corner or terminator in the brush properties the drop down flashes but does not persist in order to allow me to change it.

12. ctrl key to change the size of an object

14. CMD + D keys not working, and unable to rotate and copy object multiple times around object

    Trying to rotate object multiple times around a circle, but CMD + D not working. Also when using rotation box, after clicking 'copy', command box automatically exits without even clicking OK and i'm taken back to drawing board without being given option to copy object again.

15. brush pressure issue

    so, i recently just bought this new tablet (GAOMON M106K), so i could make some drawings but when i started to use it with the pressure it randomly puts off these dot like ends for the lines. This is really getting me frustrated because i cant find anyone who has this problem, it inst the pen or tablet either because i have tried it on different software and its perfect. If anyone could get back to me that would be great

16. Blob brush describes a path, not a form

    Recently, when I use blob brush with my wacom one, it describes a path, not a form. If I use the mouse, blob brush works well. I do not know how can I solve it.

17. Eraser not making consecutive strokes

    For a while now th eraser is not working properly and it's bugging the **** out of me, it's one of the main tools I use when drawing. Both with a pen and a mouse, both when zoomed in and out - it works for one or two strokes, then after that just won't erase anything until either I deselect/select the object or hit undo. Then it will work for one or two paths again and then I have to repeat the same step. The erasing box - alt and drag while the eraser tool is selected, works always, but I do usually erase precise areas and rarely they're a square or rectangle.

20. Tools all become 'locked' requiring reboot (of Illustrator, not OS)

    Windows 10, March 2018 Illustrator (latest).

    This has happened maybe five or six times now, I think only since the latest update, apparently random occurrence (or I can't spot a common theme). Working on an unlocked layer, all drawing tools get a 'not available' symbol next to them. Can select objects in the layers panel but nowhere else. The only fix is to restart Illustrator - just closing and reopening the document (or indeed another document) does not unlock the tools.
