    Akshay, the team would need to study those files that makes Illustrator work slowly. Please upload these to a file hosting of your choice (with all the links collected using File > Package) and send the access link to sharewithai@adobe.comm so the team could investigate them. Please mention the link to this report (http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/50490981) along with full details about your OS and hardware.

  3. Dimensions of newly created objects have numerous decimal places and don’t get adjusted afterwards

    1. After leaving the computer on for a week with software running in the background, when trying to draw a new rectangle, the dimensions will show numerous decimal places. Moreover, when attempting to adjust the dimensions afterward, the values will jump erratically.

    2. The background backup process of the software occupies main operational resources, resulting in lag.

    Shift Constraint is not working properly when editing proportionally or when duplicating using Option drag Shift command. I'm surprised that as many updates as we are required to do, that the glitches and bugs are so prevalent than they used to be before constant updating. I'm beginning to think that updating isn't really about making the product better, but to keep folks paying their subscriptions.

  5. Illustrator "froze" when adjust object in transform panel

    1. Mac Mini 2024 (Sequoia 15.5)
    2. Adobe Illustrator 2025 (29.6.1)
    3. Tried moving the selected object using "Transform" panel - X,Y value
    4. Adjusted the "Y value" by 1mm - the app dialog "Progress - Transforming Objects..." pop up and nothing happen, app just froze.

  7. Illustrator 25.3.1 Increase Text with Shift Option Broken

    When I hold down shift and option key to expand text it won't enlarge the text.
    Not sure what I am doing wrong or if this is a bug. Would be super helpful if your team were to fix this issue if it were a bug.

    Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce this issue in house.

    Can you help the Illustrator team to isolate this issue further so that we can nail this down?
    1)Kindly provide small video describing the issue , Test file(Via File→Package) with which you are able to reproduce this issue and share with us at ShareWithAI@adobe.com in a Zip file. Please mention the title of this issue as the subject of the mail.

  8. Create new file dialog box lags

    When I'm working with multiple files, opening and closing, there are times where I copy an object to a new file. I use Command-N, but the dialog box lags and takes several seconds to show up. Is it trying to connect to something online? Why is there lag?

    i am not able to reproduce the issue at my end. Can you please share the following information:

    1. Which OS you are working on?
    2. What is the version of AI?
    3. Have you stared facing this issue recently?
    4. If you are using some other Adobe application, Is it happening in that application as well?

  9. Illustrator doesn't open

    I simply can't open Illustrator anymore. The screenshot below shows how Illustrator appears when it's open. I can only see the top bar, none of the actual interface. I'm working on MacOS Mojave Version 10c.14.1 Illustrator version 23.01

    I even tried uninstalling and installing it again but nothing changed.
