  1. Info palette moves to monitor Measure Tool is used

    The Info palette instantly jumps to the monitor that you use the Measure Tool on. If it's connected to all the other palettes on a secondary monitor, all of them instantly jump to the monitor where you are using the Measure Tool.

    Like most people, I have my palettes on a secondary monitor and my main monitor has my document. So every single time I use the Measure Tool, my palettes jump over to the main monitor.

    Please fix this so the Info palette stays where I put it when using the Measure Tool.

  2. Start Screen/Blank Screen Persists

    Every time I close an Adobe window, AI, PS, Acrobat, it leaves a "home screen" up. This is annoying in the extreme. I can uncheck show this screen in prefs, but then it just leaves a blank black slate up there. Equally annoying. When I close a document, I expect the app to not still be there in my way. Please fix this. We pay a bunch of money for access to these great tools of the trade, give us the ability to make them work like we prefer. Thank you. I am aware this is not technically a bug,…

  3. Gradients Swatch Box Snaps Back

    When expanding the box to see your gradient fill it immediately snaps back to the letterbox default. I cannot gauge the color gradients very well without enlarging the viewable gradient area.
    Its a bug that needs fixing.

  5. My Illustrator CC window will not minimise into the dock?

    Hi,

    Not sure where to go with this one but I have just upgraded to Adobe CC and noticed that I'm unable to 'Minimise' the window in Illustrator and also noticed that it won't do it in InDesign but Photoshop does minimise (ODD!)

    All it will do is when you double click it fills to fit screen and then the opposite.

    I have posted this onto the forum and others have mentioned that they are also experiencing this problem.

    (I have turned on the 'Double -click a windows title bar to minimize' in the System Preferences)

  6. Getting error while opening illustrator. Workspace missing.

    Get an error while starting the illustrator. Workspace is missing as well. Even if I reset the workspace nothing happens. Nothing happens when I select an already saved workspace. Please figure this out ASAP cannot complete my work.

  7. tools panels disappeared.

    I've just updated the software and got a dialogue box that some preferences were missing, then the interface changed to the dark one (I opt for the lightest one) and then all my tools seem to have disappeared and I can't get them back. I've quit, reopened, and repeated after restarting but same problem so far exists.

    release to layers not working. Does it for 1 group or sublayer, but not for all of them. Had to open CC 2014 to get it to work.

  9. Tool Options Palettes Absent On Launch

    The tool options palettes (those you select from the Window menu) are occasionally absent on launch. Not every time. Not even most times. It seems to occur in waves; sometimes more frequent, sometimes less frequent. Lately, it's been a near daily occurrence.

    Choosing the palettes in the Window menu when this happens does nothing.

    I have the palettes grouped in a single column, but it seems to make no difference whether they're grouped or spread out. Likewise it makes no difference if they're on my primary or secondary monitor.

  10. Illustrator v23 desktop glitchy

    Hi, im running Illustrator CC 2019 v23 on Windows 7 32gb Ram. The keyboard shortcuts dont work (ctrl+A for example), mouse scroll zoom doesnt work. All drop down menus, File/Edit etc, will shut randomly making it impossible to select any options. As it stands completely unusable. Anyone else haviing these issues?

  13. Unable to assign CMD+Z to Undo tool

    I am using Illustrator CC 2018 22.0.1 for Mac (High Sierra 10.13.2) and I am having trouble assigning CMD + Z to my "Undo" tool. After my last update, I had lost nearly all of the default keyboard shortcuts (I had never customized them before so I assume they were the defaults) like cmd + s = save, cmd + c = copy, cmd + v = paste, etc. which was really frustrating to always have to go to the menu bars to do small actions.   14. Windows Panels resize at applications restart

    Not sure if this is a Windows issue or a new AI 2018 issue. The problem I am having with all 2018 Adobe products is that when I enter back into AI after restart my Window Panel properties are all collapsed even though my saved work-space is saved with all of them always expanded. This causes me to go through every window panel and expand it. Not a huge deal but super annyoing and a time waste. This is happening consistently. I am running Win10- pro with the latest AI CC update.

  15. New Illustrator 2018 UI is not correct-missing panels and won't set workplace

    This is what I get when opening the new Illustrator CC 2018. Wonky, slow to respond, no panels, workplace will not appear. THings lag and disappear randomly. Terrible!

  16. Dual Screen - Prompt window display on the wrong screen - Mac

    The prompt dialog display window constantly display on the wrong screen even after repositioning to the main display.

  17. Toplayers in layer panel flip open when opening files, even after closing them when closing the file.

    Files with a lot of layers that have sublayers should keep their toplayers 'closed' to keep things orderly and manageable. Now every time I open a file, AI flips most (not all! why?) toplayers open, thereby showing all sublayers, making the layer panel a superlong list and cluttering view. I always have to start by manually closing them all again. rinse and repeat after closing the file.... There seems to be no structure as to which toplayers get flipped open and which stay closed, so it is not a pref setting it seems.

  18. UI Not Scaling Down

    After updating to the 2018 version of Illustrator, I found that the UI wasn't scaling to the proper resolution. I expected it to be proper & have smaller buttons & such. In reality, all of the tools & toolbars are bloated like it's scaled to 200%.

    did something happen to the simple command + and command - zoom keyboard shortcuts? I've been using those since 1995 or 6, and now when i use them it centers me on a specific, but unselected artboard?

  20. exporting svg

    Hi,
    I use Illustrator CC 2017 21.1.0.
    When exporting an illustrator document to svg 1.2 tiny and open in Dreamweaver CC2017 or another editor I receive an error on the Illustrator metadata / namespaces like:
