Palm rejection needs to be improved
Using the pencil tool is not as cool as it should be because my palms keep on making new points or undoing my work.it feels like every two steps forward is another step back.
Please post a comment if enabling Palm Rejection (explained below) does not help.

My palm is constantly triggering the undo action as well as resetting my zoom level and canvas rotation - this makes the experience with the pencil far worse than it should be. I have palm rejection turned on. I can’t use the app at all if I’m expected to hover my hand off the screen. I didn’t have this problem in procreate.

I would appreciate it if someone at Adobe would let us know if there is an actual issue with Palm Rejection and if that is being worked on. I purchased a digital 2finger glove which as helped tremendously BUT documentation states one should NOT be needed with an iPadPro. Also saw a comment somewhere to 'reset' the iPadPro (no idea if that's recommended or how to do it).

Enabling Palm Rejection does not help ( I have always had it ON). I've only had my iPadPro for 6 months and am disappointed. I depend on being able to rest my hand on the screen to stabalize a tremor. I DID also just order a digital drawing glove though supposedly one would not be needed with the iPadPro.

There is an associated issue with this problem. Many of us keep our hand up not touching the screen fearing that the palm will zoom in or out or execute an action. Ergonomically wise, this can create an issue with the shoulder of that arm. Palm rejection should always work so we don’t get into these unhealthy habits nd trust the hand can be on the screen as much as we want.
Please enable gestures only when touch button is on, as a setting

Hey there Adobe team, the palm rejection feature does not stop the palm from interacting all the time. My understanding was that the touch button was the only area where fingers could interact.
If having gestures is creating this issue, why not having a setting that allows us to choose if we want finger gestures to work as long as the touch button is pressed? For many of us the palm interaction creates a lot of issues.
Please? It’s a simple touch button check ahead of accepting a gesture?

I have undo happen a lot when I rest my hand on the screen too. Really annoying.

When I put my hand on the iPad the canvas will zoom in or out making it hard for me to “know where I am”.

Hi Joshua/Angela
Please enable Palm Rejection from Settings->Input and let you know if you are still facing any issues.
Thanks

I noticed this too. I recommend wearing a digital art drawing glove while you wait for palm rejection to improve.

Not sure if this something limited to just my own personal use with the app. But I’m having some issues with my palms causing input issues with the interface. I’ll be drawing with the pen tool when a mishap with my palms causing the interface to zoom out of what I was working on. Yes, I do have the palm rejection checked within the app’s settings. But even with this on I’m still getting some interference...
