Command bar in app
It would be great to have an IN APP COMMAND BAR to;
access each menus and options from NAV BAR in all ADOBE TOOLS especially PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR, IN DESIGN..
With a simple key combination; a COMMAND BAR appears to reach quicky to menu item with text writing. Eg: COMMAND+SHIFT+P
By adding this option to all CREATIVE CLOUD APPS, people no need to modify SHORTCUTS or no need to EXPLORE NEW SHORTCUTS.
It's the new way of reaching all options to NAV MENU CONTENTS from ONE, SIMPLE COMMAND BAR. CURRENT ACTIONS or User created ACTIONS Names will be listed.
Thank you…

An automatic way for multi select by color, shape… (Select Same) for Illustrator iPad was we have in Illustrator desktop

Sometimes it’s impossible to select all I’ve already drawn or take so much time.2 votes -
Pen tool additional menu
When using the desktop and the Pen tool, I am constantly adding points, subtracting points, and adjusting Bezier curves.
On the iPad, I can add points, but I cannot remove them.
Having the additional menu that the selection arrow has would be very helpful for the Pen tool.3 votes -
Width tool and Free Transform Tool
It's super painful to jump on the desktop version every single time, just for small corrections.

Restore anchor point long hold to delete anchor points.
Previously, when performing a long press with the direct select tool on an anchor point, it would delete that anchor point. Using the "delete anchor point" button on the floating menu is now the only option, but the long press method is just simpler and saves a lot of effort. A nice way to restore this option is to have it as a feature that you can turn on/off in prefrences.

Eraser tool on the iPad should work with Shift and Option/Alt shortcuts (like desktop)
On the desktop, Shift constrains the eraser to 45º and Option/Alt erases as a marquee.
Can we please have the same functionality for the iPad? The touch shortcuts don't work with the eraser tool, and neither do the keyboard shortcuts. Thanks!3 votes -
Join Tool
Like on the desktop version of Illustrator, where you can draw overlapping lines, then scrub through them at the intersections to trim them off and simultaneously join them into a single anchor point.
Something like vector trimming on Fresco, but for anchor points.3 votes -
Did Adobe really made this? It feels like a knockoff app.
Illustrator iPad feels like one of those ‘free lite versions’ you can download before purchasing a full version.
Limited EVERYTHING, buggy, likes to quit on you half the time, and they charge you money for it.

Rotate bounding box only
The bounding box is forever fixed now, and we can’t reset it, the way it is possible in the desktop (and there is a separate request for that: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/931888-illustrator-ipad-feature-requests/suggestions/42167054-reset-bounding-box).
But it would be better to make it better— by giving a mode to freely rotate the bounding box the way we need, to zero or another angle.
One more button in the context panel, or a toggle we can get when hold the rotation handle (to display the rotation center) — either way will do.1 vote -
Background removal Tool
One Reason I keep my Canva subscription is because they offer a background removal tool for photos. Sometimes when I am designing on my iPad I need to perform a background removal. Canva has an amazing tool for this. If Adobe offered an equally effective background removal tool for photos in illustrator for iPad it would make my life easier and would render Canva unnessisary.

Envelope, Warp, and mesh distort tools
Same as on the full version, something that’s definitely missing from the iPad version.

Smooth tool like the desktop version
On the desktop version they have a smooth tool where you can target specific lines and shapes. I use this tool constantly and was disappointed to not find it on the app version. It’s the major missing feature keeping me from using the app more often

Hand tool and scrolling with the mouse, horizontal scrolling as well (like a computer)
The shortcut H does not work on the ipad pro to access the hand tool, while this is the case on a computer. Scrolling up and sideways is also very important for my workflow. This is important for me to be able to pan around as I am using my iPad Pro as a laptop replacement.

double tap the apple pencil to go back one step
For example, if you have made a mistake in what you are doing. That will be ideal if it can also be done with the pencil. (instead of tapping the screen with two fingers to go back one step.)

Pencil tool options - like on desktop illustrator
Would be lovely to have more control of the pencil tool. I simply tried doing my signature and it was getting all distorted because the points were connecting wherever they pleased... impossible getting line right when working on smaller details. Pencil Tool would be extremely helpful to have for future work. Thank you kindly.
