Starting from the February 2024 release, version 28.3, this option is no longer enabled by default for new documents. If you had hyphenation enabled in an existing document, Ai will respect this.

We have released the support for Gradient swatches in CC library with our latest release - v29.3
You can select the gradient swatch in swatches panel and add it to CC Library through the button on the bottom bar in the panel. You can also select any object which has gradient applied and add that gradient to CC Library through Add Elements from the Libraries panel and choose Fill Gradient from the drop-down menu.
Please update to this version from your Creative Cloud Desktop application and let us know your feedback.

An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment I would like to be able to set a custom keyboard shortcut for my workspace preset. I can do this in photoshop easily but I would like to be able to do this in illustrator as well.
(I have a Loupedeck device that I would like to have configured to change workspaces with single click, like I have it in other apps) -

The previous way of creating 3D is still there and will stay there, no worries!
Go Effect > 3D and Materials > 3D (Classic) to access the tools you need.
Also you can enable Render as Vector in 3D and Materials panel, but it’s not that powerful yet as the older method. This will be better in next releases.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.1.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

20 select nodes with Lasso tool (Q)
(no nodes on the locked object should be selected)
30 locked object nodes does not appear selected
40 delete - nodes in the locked object are gone
(only works with delete, nudge does not work on locked objects)
photoshop can do this too, come on
