An error occurred while saving the comment The Basic tool panel now does not have the Knife included.
But you can still pick it, in two ways:
1. Switching the tool panel into the Advanced, via Window > Toolbars > Advanced menu — the Knife tool then will be there in the Scissors tool group (click and hold Scissors to access these)
2. You can stick with Basic tool panel. Click the 'Edit Toolbar...' button (with three dots on it) at the bottom of the panel, locate the Knife tool in the library of tools (in the 'Modify' section) and drag it into the Scissors tool to nest it there (or anywhere in the tool panel, if you want it there).
Please reply if it works for you. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, now it does. The OK button does not getting clicked.
So it’s reproducible, and this is about this exact brush at least.
Thanks you for reporting that!An error occurred while saving the comment Elusive bugs are the worst :(
So, you have this particular file, where the bug happens still, right? Does it survive reopening the file? Can you share it for the team to study? An error occurred while saving the comment Still can’t reproduce it! :( Doing the same exact thing you do in the video, with the same routine.
Does it always happen to you? Does it happen for a brand new file as well? Only with Calligraphic brushes or any type at all?An error occurred while saving the comment I am able to save change for the duplicate calligraphic brush (although there is no 'Save' button, but just 'OK').
Can you please record a video, demonstrating the problem, for the team to replicate it? -

Guides in Illustrator can be locked in two ways: separately, as any other object, or all at once, using View > Guides > Lock/Unlock Guides command, which is independent of the common way, and won’t allow you to unlock guides later one by one, only all of them together.
An error occurred while saving the comment Great!
It’s a common problem, and perhaps the solution is hard to discover, without searching for the answer in the manual or asking elsewhere. If you want Ai to adapt the model InDesign uses, you can vote here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/37211029-make-guides-to-be-like-in-indesign
An error occurred while saving the comment May, can you also please check the View > Guides > Unlock Guides option? Guides can be locked all together in this menu, separately from Layers.

This got solved by eliminating the Bulb button altogether. Instead we now have the Discover panel now, which can be called with Help > Illustrator Help / Tutorials / What’s New(they all lead to different sections of the same panel).

An error occurred while saving the comment I see, thanks.
Yes, this is something naked Ai can’t do.
But this is something AG Offset plugin can make possible, a paid plugin from Astute Graphics. Perhaps it can solve this for you.
Voted. An error occurred while saving the comment Can you provide a mockup, please, to clarify the idea?

An error occurred while saving the comment Not possible technically. The team is not going to make changes in the classic algorithms, and the math behind inflation method is quite complex to be supported by the old tech. Most probably will be rejected — sorry!

Rigel, you have to be more detailed with the request.
Firstly, Inkscape’s Align panel is not 'simple' :) It has a lot of more options, and feels more intimidating than the one Ai has.
Secondly, one can argue it is 'complete'. There are many more features absent both in Inkscape and Illustrator for alignment.
Thirdly — which features are you interested in particular — and why?
The team can’t just do 'steal from Inkscape', no, it has to be justified, revised, integrated. It does not work without arguments.
