An error occurred while saving the comment Becky, can you record a short small video (not full screen, if you can) to demonstrate the issue?
What toolbar are you using, Basic or Advanced? Does it help to switch them?
Can you see the small triangle at the right bottom corner of the Pencil tool icon at all?
Does it happen with other tool expanded menus, or does it apply to Pencil’s group only? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Do you still have access to Ai 2022? Can you make a comparison, using exact same parameters, when saving an SVG?
Please attach both files here — but rename them to .txt, so that draconic UserVoice security filters don’t get alerted. Also — does the image stays, if you use Export method instead? or Export for Screens / Assets?

An error occurred while saving the comment Well, a vendor could have updated their GPU driver, and some internal instructions could have changed to draw the stuff on screen, or the OS could have get an update that deprecate some instructions, it all happened before. Things change. Though I really doubt the cracked versions can have it differently, this can easily be a pure coincidence and a false conclusion.
Nothing can be told for sure and investigated without proofs and the test file. If you know for sure you had no problems with the specific art using a specific build — please share the build number and the file itself, so the team can reproduce it. It won’t work the other way, sorry. As I said before, these can be fixed only per individual basis.
An error occurred while saving the comment Ziga, this is a trade off GPUs make to be able to render the art quickly, faster than CPU. At the moment we have to make a choice — fast, but not exactly perfect, or slow, but precise. The team knows about limitations, but to have a chance to have these fixed each case has to be tackled individually — different configurations make different results. So if you can provide this exact test file and specify the region which has this problem, the team at least would be able to try to reproduce at their side.
Can you share a file like this, please. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Tom-Kenneth, there are several ways to solve this task at the moment.
1. If you select a text object and run Object > Flatten Transparency with a default settings, Ai will break the text into lines.
2. If you need something like words, or individual letters VectorFirstAid paid plugin from Astute Graphics allows that.
3. Free scripts that do the same, but perhaps less reliable in some casesThere is general feature request you might want to upvote instead:
Break apart blocks of text into separate text objects: by lines, words, characters, outlines

An error occurred while saving the comment Right now Illustrator offers Retype function, still in Beta, which allows you to recognize and rebuild a text, if the font is installed on your drive or exist in Adobe Fonts. Have you tried it? It works on word basis, restoring one at a time.
This function was designed to solves tasks like you describe.Another option you can use, a more honest one, is 'Create outlined text paths to editable text' button command from VectorFirstAid plugin from Astute Graphics. It works by comparing a chosen font with outlines and restoring positions precisely, for the whole selection (but requires unchanged outlines).
If you just need to save the font name when a text is outlined, I think it’s something that can be handled with a script... But it won’t be as different as the habit you already have, and won’t apply to the majority of users who don’t use the script.
An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting. For now you can do it manually by adding the name of it to the note field in the info panel. And it looks like a thing that a custom script can do. But I doubt that this can be a wide-needed feature .

An error occurred while saving the comment There is a feature request to have Increment/Decrement Stroke Weight key commands:
http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/32307397Is this what you mean? Or do you just mean the Width tool, to apply variable widths to strokes?

An error occurred while saving the comment What do you mean specifically?
If it does crash for you when you use Apple Pencil (but does not when you use just fingers) — then it’s a known bug, and the team is working on fixing it: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/931885-illustrator-ipad-bugs/suggestions/47171770-when-using-apple-pencil-it-crashes-on-ipad-os-17 -

Does it work fine when you use touch only? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Oh yes, indeed, it’s even simpler. Thanks for the exploration!
An error occurred while saving the comment Same problem happens if you use the Offset Path effect.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ah, I see now what you mean. Indeed, Ai treats a click on the ruler as focusing an artboard that is under the ruler.
Voted. An error occurred while saving the comment Ryan, does it still happen for you?
It does not happen for me when I test it in recent versions, the rulers stay true to the currently active artboard. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Do you mean Properties panel or Control bar?
When it happens, are you able to use the other panels/bars to edit values?
Can you record this on video next time it happens, just to demo the exact behavior? What version do you use?
Does it happen in Beta? Can you check it? (you can install it from CCD) -

An error occurred while saving the comment Nah, does not happen :(
What does the History panel gets as a listed item when you copy the artboard with the contents?
It displays only one per operation for me, properly named. Can you please record a video? An error occurred while saving the comment Does not happen for me, can’t replicate in — but I am on Windows. Artwork moves back with the artboard it lies within...
Still, can you please try to replicate it with a simple test file. If it behaves the same — please share it here, just in case. -
