Artwork moves separately from its artboard when Undo is called
when you move an artboard and have 'move artwork with artboard' checked in the properties panel (and in preferences) everything works going from point A to B. Unfortunately when you want to undo your work and use the key command 'command z' the artboard moves back to its' original location but the artwork does NOT. you have to use 'command z' several more times for the artwork to reposition itself to its original position. This makes no sense. why are 2 items that were moved at the same time in one pass not reposition themselves (back to pt. A) in one pass? This is a bug!

Nah, does not happen :(
What does the History panel gets as a listed item when you copy the artboard with the contents?
It displays only one per operation for me, properly named. Can you please record a video? -

hi Egor,
thanks for replying. i actually forgot to note a few details: I'm on a Mac using OS - Monterey 12.7 with 64 GB of RAM.
so the problem persists.
I did a save as on the original problematic file and deleted all but one artboard. This file still has issues and you need several repeats of the undo key command (command z) to get all the contents back in place.
I also created a simple new file with one square object as content and this too exhibits the same behaviour - but in this case it gets even weirder. when i created the file you only needed 2 'command z' key commands to get the board and contents both back to position B. then i closed the file and re-opened it and now you need 3 command-z prompts. so the file appears to decay. with regard to this regression.
and to be clear i selected the 'artboard tool', then i selected an artboard and moved it (with the option to move content with the board checked in the properties panel). then with the board STILL selected, i undid this move (command z) and thats when the board moves back to its' original location but the content stays at location B and you need many repeats of command z to mate the two again.
hopefully you'll see what i mean. or maybe not if you are on windows.
but to me this appears to be a bug. all items (board and contents) should move in unison.
hope these examples help.
cheers - cindy

Does not happen for me, can’t replicate in — but I am on Windows. Artwork moves back with the artboard it lies within...
Still, can you please try to replicate it with a simple test file. If it behaves the same — please share it here, just in case.
