We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.

We have fixed this bug in our latest release – v 28.2.0 which is available worldwide now. Thanks for your patience on this.

When trying to extrude the same flat version in Illustrator version 28.1, the process starts but never ends... Therefore, I cannot show you anything extruded from Illustrator 28.1.

You are welcome ! You used version 27.9 to make it work. As I said previously, it is also working in version 28.0. This is the version I am using right now. The problem really appeared in version 28.1. Last question : how do we know that the problem is solved without checking every new version ? Thanks again for the follow up.
