The shift lock rotation should be decided based on how many iterations there are. so if there is 12 iterations it should be divided by 360 making the shift lock at 360/12 = 30 degrees. or for 8 iterations 360/8=45 degrees. I need more precision and control with this tool. I use it a lot. and its hard to make precise repeating patterns.

Egor, thanks for the reply, I was able to recreate the problem as you stated and correct it with the workaround you stated. Thanks for that, As I have had it happen several more times in the past two days and would just undo until it went away. I agree that it should show both width adjustments in the dialog, and I hope this is something that gets fixed.

This happens to me as well. But it's not ALL hidden layers, just some of them.

Also I work with Radial Repeat a lot. and when i double click and go into isolation mode, the only real way to edit the shape in the radial repeat it picks a different random color for the layer color. often something that doesn't contrast with the line color of the art. I can change the layer color while in isolation mode but once i go out and go back in it just reverts. I would be happy with a lot of suggestions above. but if it has to pick a random color it should do it base don what color the line is. Id really like to be able to pick a default color for all layer colors that ever layer and every isolation layer is and then if i need something different for that layer or isolation layer just let me choose. And remember my color choice when i change it in isolation mode. chop chop
