Hello,Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience and disappointment the issue has caused. We do test our products thoroughly including running it through multiple beta testers and we really regret that this issue slipped past our quality checks.
We have a fix and is available in the pre-release build. Please visit https://adobe.ly/1o2SDsg and get the latest build for version 23.0.5 (Build 2). While the build is prerelease this build is still of production quality. Please feel free to use/recommend it for your day to day activity.

772 votesThanks for raising this. We've looked into this issue from our side, but we're unable to reproduce the issue internally so far.
If you're still seeing it, could you help us with a few details so we can dig in further?
- Are you still facing the issue? (yes / intermittent / no longer)
- Machine configuration — OS and version, GPU, and Illustrator version/build
- Reproduction rate — does it happen every time, or only sometimes?
- A screen recording of the issue as it happens, if you can capture one
- The AI file you were working with when the issue occurred (feel free to share a stripped-down/anonymised version if the original is confidential)
If the issue is 100% reproducible on your machine, we'd be happy to set up a short debug session with you.

What's even worse is that the program is able to be snapped to one half of the screen if you snap a different window first, essentially making it behave like a small portrait oriented touch mode. I just want that, but for the entire area of my screen.The loss of portrait touch mode is intensely frustrating.
