It is super annoying that it is still something that I need to change each launch.

Seriously, has there not been an update to this? The versions should remain consistent in how it saves or at least provide an option.

Here we go, the first Beta version with the Dimension tool. Still very basic, but more features are to come. Please try the Beta 27.7 (available in the Beta section in your Creative Cloud Desktop application), test the tool and give the team your feedback here in comments. and refer to roadmap to see what will be added later.

I would love this as well. I am making packaging templates and need to call out horizontal and vertical width constantly. Diameter as well. I am currently using CAD Tools and do find it cumbersome. I do like that the dimensions are live and update with the object if it changes in size. I also depend on dual dimensions. (imperial and metric)
Please give us a choice for save location in preferences or at least go to the parent folder from the file source as the default. Why would something this basic change??
