I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Illustrator CS6 was much more performant and stable. What on earth happens to our subs money?
Adobe, please build software for pros, not simply gimmicks that look good on sales material.
An error occurred while saving the comment Michael commentedIt seems this thread is being ignored now... How to get their attention in some other way? I agree, it's debilitating, demoralizing and profoundly unfair to paying users who expect updates to improve, not degrade their software.

An error occurred while saving the comment Michael commentedYeah, this is still an issue in RC3 :(
Fancy new features don't mean much when the basics are broken.

Hi Everyone,
All the effect checkboxes have now been set to ON by default, and are sticky (meaning that if you disable preview, on next launch of Illustrator preview will remain disabled). This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

I'm starting to get the feeling that this forum is where Adobe bug reports go to die a slow, quiet death. Is there another platform on which paying customers are more likely to be heard regarding critical issues like this? It seems too easy for Adobe to simply ignore us here.
