As this happens only with Dynamic Symbols, seems PDF format allow placing exactly same object in several places of page without storing full copy of this object in file.

So the source of the problem is that Illustrator don't check Dynamic Symbol instances on page, if they changed or not.

Most of dynamic symbols placed on pages without changes (especially because Dynamic symbol type is selected by default in Illustrator), so if we add this check to Illustrator, it will reduce size of many files for users.

Can Adobe add check for changes in Dynamic Symbols and store them as Static Symbols in file, if no changes applied to symbol instance in document?

When I create a clipping mask, I can set stroke color and size for Clipping mask path object and it works well. But I need to set stroke align of my Clipping mask from Center to Inside. Immediately when I change Stroke align to Inside (or Outsize) - it is disappear from object display.

How to reproduce this bug in Adobe Illustrator CC 2018:

    1. Create Circle inside Rectangle as clipping mask

    2. Select Clipping mask Path object (Rectangle) and apply any stroke to them (eg 1pt black) - it shows normally.

    3. Change Stroke align to Inside or Outside - it will disappear!

    4. Change back Stroke align to Center - it will return!

Why this happens and where is the source of this problem? Why Clipping mask stroke works only with Center aligned stroke?

How can I force Inside (Outside) stroke for clipping mask stroke? If this is Illustrator bug, maybe some workarounds exists?

    Hi Everyone,

This functionality is available in our latest release build – 27.6.1.

The new functionality allows searching layers by name using the searchbar in the layers panel. The users can also apply filters based on layer properties (locked, hidden etc) or objects properties (effects, text etc.). This will help to quickly find layers/objects for large documents (having multiple layers).

Read more about this - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/whats-new/2023-5.html#search-and-filter

Thank you for all the feedback.
