ArialMT in Save and Save As
Now the Save and Save As are creating an SVG with
.st0{font-family:'ArialMT';}
A better solution is
.st0{font-family:'ArialMT',’Arial’;}Like it is in the export for screens

Share to Review: Attach files to comments, Zoom more than 100%
Attach file to comment. Typically the client add in quick sketches, reference images, new logo files and so on and it would be super helpful if they could attach those files to the comment in review mode to avoid having to still use e-mail or similar services to get quick assets between us and them.
Deeper zoom function: The pdf can only be zoomed in to 100% of the artboard setting, so some details can't be seen. Infinite zoom would be ideal.

Give us true list view for exporting artboards
I would like an actual list view where artboards are in a list, show native dimensions, and any other meta that makes sense. Current multi column view truncates text and thumbnail size can't be scaled.

Need "Save a Copy" suffix checkbox option, like "Export As"
Much like the recent fix to the "Export As" dialog box which added a filename 'Suffix' checkbox option when saving an image or images, would it be possible to also get a Suffix checkbox option added to the "Save a Copy" dialog box? When I need to generate a PDF using Save a Copy (my go-to method, less cumbersome than Print>PDF) which is several times per day, I don't want "copy" added to the filename and I have to remove it every single time before saving. Thanks.

Add option in Preferences > File Handing to remove or “do not append” the word “copy” in the filename when saving a copy
Please add an option in Preferences > File Handing to remove or “do not append” the word “copy” in the filename when saving a copy. This feature is not an option in Illustrator but it is a feature in Photoshop that saves a lot of time compared to manually removing it every time.

Share for Review wish list
This function is long overdue and I am loving it. However, as someone who uses it multiple times a day, every day, I think there are a couple of things I think could make it better.
1. The ability to group files together in the same link.
I'm not a fan of "writing over" an existing file so that I can click on "update content". That is ok for small changes, but when the client is asking for significant updates/changes, I prefer to save a new file named "rev 1" or something similar. This then requires me to get a…4 votes -

Able to edit class prefix at export SVG (st0,st1...)
This issue is very common when you import to html two or more svg files and the last svg overwrites the class of the previous svg inserted, due that uses same name of class.
The solve is able to edit a prefix on export options window, that can edit for each file to set an unique prefix to get e.g.: st0, st1 and foo0, foo1 in each.

It would be great to have more control of the .jpg compression settings in "Export for Screens"
It would be great is more granular control of the .jpg compression settings. Right now we can only export at 100, 80, 50 and 20. We find that 60% compression is often the sweet spot between size and quality. Having a user adjustable slider or more presets would be great. It is another reason why we are still using the legacy export.

Menu bar item “Duplicate with New Document”
The History panel menu has a highly useful feature called “New Document.” As it is versatile, it should be added as a menu item on the menu bar.
Example:
Menu bar “File > Duplicate with New Document”

メニューバー項目「新規ドキュメントで複製」
ヒストリーパネルのメニューには、「新規ドキュメント」という非常に便利な機能があります。この機能は汎用性が高いため、メニューバーのメニュー項目として追加するべきです。

Extract missing links from Ai editable PDF when opening it in Illustrator
PDF's saved from illustrator with 'preserve illustrator editing capabilities' do not embed any linked raster images in the Illustrator compatible component. When the PDF is opened in illustrator for editing, a message alerts that the links are missing, and low res images show when opened. The links are present in the PDF portion of the file and can be extracted manually and relinked. Might be a big ask, but it would be more ideal that Illustrator recognises the links are contained within the file, and is able to extract them automatically and embed them into the Illustrator component during opening.

PDF import: Improve gradient parser compatibility
Currently, Illustrator apparently doesn't support all "types" of gradients present in a PDF. When trying to open the attached PDF, an error occurs and the gradient is rasterized.
However, it opens normally in other programs such as Scribus. I thought it was a limitation of the PDF producer (Inkscape), but maybe not. Please, see the discussion: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inbox/-/issues/9185
Therefore, I ask Adobe to investigate the case and, if it is a limitation of Illustrator, to implement support for this "type" of gradient for better interoperability of the PDF parser.

Save for Web is disabled
Open both files attached in any Ai version from 26.4.1 to 27, and try to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy) for both.
The command will be disabled for the 'bad' and enabled for 'good', although the only rectangle in both is the same.
There is something wrong in the file structure then, but what? Also, the ExportOptionsPNG24 does nothing if a script with it gets run.

Reset numbering of assets in Asset Export panel
Ability to reset the numbering of the Assets in the Export panel. Numbering is retained after several exports or adding/removing assests to the panel.

import DXF Blocks
In fashion Industry, one of the most common exchange file format is DXF-AAMA/ASTM.
If it is too complex to Illustrator to handle all the subtilities of this format, could it be possible at least to manage "Blocks" ?
Blocks are DXF entities which can be assimilate as "Groups" or "Symbols"
but in Ai Groups and Symbols may stay on a single layer.
In DXF Blocks, you may have multiple entities on multiple layers, but you need to keep them as a single object.
So I was wondering if Ai could generate for each Block a layer (with the name of…72 votes -
Give the ability to export extra Spot colors in .PSD files (also implement the Mixed Inks feature)
I think it's for Adobe to implement the ability to export files in .PSD and have those extra colors in separate channels (maybe in CMYK mode plus the extra spot colors translated to extra color channels).
If it works well with PDF files why not with Photoshop files?
It's a real pain to get a 5 colors file (CMYK + Pantone color) exported to Photoshop. PSD files have all the colors flattened for the exported mode option (RGB, CMYK).
Also, it's time to think very serious about implement the Mixed Inks from Indesign into Illustrator and in the end the…

Share for Review extra functions
Hi,
I'm really thankful for this review function but there are a couple of things I would like to see in the future. Hopefully, some are already in progress!
Ability to select which artboards to share
Show the size of the artboard (I prepare 6 artboards at a go, clients do not know what size are they looking at)
Have a pretty URL that does not look like... https://assets.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:AP:46b3c72e-e17c-42b7-2da9-08fc21a30b91
A caption area for each artboard so that I can put down some notes directly on the Illustrator app.
Thank you!

Export revisions only
When making minor updates to an existing presentation or pdf, option to "Export Revisions Only" to an existing file name or pdf - similar to Adobe Acrobat's new feature to detect changes between similar documents, this feature allows you export/update only the pages with revisions into an existing .pdf file. This saves a lot of export time when a client asks for several small revisions to a 10-20+ page presentation or document.
