Bleed View - a view mode that shows just the artwork
Add a view mode that shows only artwork on the artboards, like in InDesign. Where I don't see the bleed and the artwork on it.

Jeron Kuxhausen commented @Diff Smit I’m not saying my workflow has to take precedence. If they added a toggle to have the option of keeping art to one art board I’m all for that. My only disagreement was with completely removing the option of having art span multiple art boards. I see the benefits of both sides.

commented@Jeron adding an *option* for sane behavior doesn't mean you can't still do things your way. In many circumstances, that is very detrimental. Why does your workflow take precedence? It doesn't.

Jeron Kuxhausen commented @Mike I have to disagree with that. I frequently have to setup art that pans across multiple store front windows or will panel across multiple panels for a vehicle graphic which if it worked they way your talking would mean I would have to duplicate my art which wouldn’t be efficient time wise or file size.

commentedStill kind of annoying. If the object is large enough to overlap the neighboring artboard then it shows up again when clearly the object is only intended to appear on the artboard it was placed. Total fail that this is such a difficult thing for Adobe. Please fix!! Still, it is better than nothing. Thank you for that at least.

commentedIt's great to finally have this implemented, but since Illustrator only allows tool shortcuts to be single letter shortcuts, we're forced to add a Function Key or Cmd Key to the mix (instead of the elegant and practical "W" we're all familiar with in InDesign). Anyway, I guess I can live with that. Already mapped the F1 key to Trim View, since I almost never use the built in Help anyway.
If only the option to "Show Hidden Characters" were also disabled when Trim View was on (just as it works in InDesign), that would be perfect!

commentedwhy didn't you give directions when you sent the upgrade. I've spent an hour just trying to log in and search around for this. Not efficient! Also we need to be able to toggle through all the bleed/slug/ etc views like with InDesign and they need a keyboard command otherwise it's too time consuming to go up to the menu. Nearly useless. Why has this been like pulling teeth?

Nikola Tomic commented Thank you!!! :) But there is no update on my Creative Cloud for Illustrator yet? My latest version is V22.1
Maybe I've disabled auto-updating somehow from Windows10 startup?
