Scripts panel / palette!
I can't believe nobody (including myself) voted for separate palette/panel. AI needs it.

Scripts are a powerful tool that allows users to complete complex tasks with a single operation. For advanced users, the convenience of scripts is extremely high, and they are used frequently in daily work.
However, in the current version of Illustrator, script execution is limited to being accessed through the menu, significantly reducing its usability. The potential of scripts is substantial, but the execution environment is severely restricted, creating a significant barrier for many users.
On the other hand, InDesign features a script panel that allows for efficient management and execution of scripts. This difference in functionality has led to a significant boost in productivity for InDesign users.
By introducing a similar script panel in Illustrator, it is clear that the productivity of many users would improve, and the use of scripts would be greatly enhanced. I strongly advocate for the implementation of this feature.

Using scripts is inconvenient because apparently they're not taken to be a serious component of Illustrator. If they were more obvious, and easier to find, and more creatively documented, a lot more people would use them, and Ai would become even more indispensable to users.

Yes, I find it quite absurd and a bit shameful that Illustrator doesn’t have a panel like InDesign to display the list of scripts.
I’m currently using one I found online, but it would be much better if it were a native feature within Illustrator.

I use Scripshon Trees. Nice action script panel. Before I used another one, but I can't remember what it was called, but it was worse :D. Maybe (while we wait for the Illustrator Team to wake up) we could share our good examples of action script panel add-ons?

Even if I'm also desperate about Ai's panel creep, I agree that a scripts panels should be native, and could feature the best community scripts, and link to the Exchange where one should get more free and paid for scripts. This would boost the visibility and use of scripts, would help coders monetise their work and dedication to the community.
A future goal would be to create an Adobe-Wide visual scripting method, similar to Automator/Workflow/Shortcuts in order to help the non-coders automate their work visually, but this is for a separate feature request.

Scripts is too difficult to find. The folder is buried in system files. Updates don't preserve the old scripts. You should have a scripts palette like the other apps. Scripts are important and can be very helpful for newbies, but nobody knows where they are or how to use them. Please make a palette just for scripts, with info about each script. Or let user enter the info in the palette. Script "notes" or some such. This is really important.

For heaven's sake, Adobe! You have made using scripts SO INCONVENIENT that hardly anybody even knows all the amazing things that are possible. If you gauge "interest" on the basis of usage stats, then this obscure features will self-destruct through lack of use. SCRIPTS are not an obscure feature. Innumerable professionals use them, and we have to go through a MINIMALIST menu item just to locate them. By name only? There should be a panel of all installed scripts. Installation should be easy. Finding them should be easy. They should be immune to app updates (I just had to COPY all my scripts after updating to Ai 2023).
