Illustrator (BETA) for Apple Silicon is here!

We are excited to announce the first Beta release of Illustrator running natively on Apple Silicon hardware!

This early version of Illustrator for Apple Silicon offers many of the core features that you've come to rely on for your day-to-day needs. Please give it a try. We would love to hear your feedback.

You can download this Beta through the Creative Cloud Desktop app's Beta Apps section. Look for 25.3.1 version. If you do not see the build, send me your Adobe ID at kotwal at Adobe dot com

    I want to receive the beta for apple silicon please as I cant find the Illustrator Beta for M1 in the my Creative Cloud

    Where can I send my Adobe ID to kotwal from the CC WEB?
    It's inconvenient because I can't see β's Illustrator and Photoshop.

    I hope you had a chance to download and use Illustrator on your M1 machine.

    I would love to hear your experience around Illustrator's performance on the Apple Silicon machine so far. Do you find it is faster or slower on: launch time, new document creation, file saving/export, or any other observations?

    I cant find the Beta for M1 in the creative Cloud, only the Intel version is there, what can i do?

    Does not improve anything, all the same performance issues as the non-beta version. Redraws extremely slow or only happens when you zoom in / zoom out. It's effectively unusable at this stage.

    GPU support is still broken: switch on rulers, change canvas or double click a grouped and the GPU support is gone. (Mac OS 11.13.1, latest Ai beta with Apple Silcon support)

    A lot of you reached out to us in the past few days to be added to the beta. Thank you all for your feedback.

    We have now opened this Beta to all! Anyone with an Adobe ID should see it under the 'Beta' section in the Creative Cloud Desktop app on Mac. If for some reason, you are not seeing it, drop an email to me: kotwal at Adobe.com

    We would love to hear your feedback on its performance as compared with non-Apple Silicon versions of Illustrator. Thanks.

    Hello, first thing I did on this beta was to check if the clipboard is working.
    YEESS finally I can move from Illustrator to Photoshop.

    Spell Check CRASHES this Beta. It does crash much quicker than the Intel version does.
