  1. Printing one artboard multiple times on one sheet

    It would be very beneficial to have a feature that allows you to save a pdf with multiple copies of your artboard on one sheet with cut marks. Something similar to the attached screenshot (that was manually created).

  2. プリント画面表示時にそのバックの作業画面のスクロールを可能にして欲しい

    デザイン画面をプリントアウトする印刷物を作成するデザイナーのほとんどは、広い作業画面の分割プリント指示を使って複数のラフをプリントします。そのときどのページをプリント指示する場合、作業画面に表示される分割プリントの番号をプリント画面で入力します。ところがプリント画面が表示されている状態では作業画面をスクロールすることが出来ません。その結果、ページ番号をメモしたり覚えたりしてその数字をプリントタイル範囲に入力しなければなりません。かつてのかなり古いバージョンではスクロール出来た時もありましたがいつの間にかその機能はなくなってしまいました。プリント画面でバックの作業画面をスクロールできると、プリント指示の効率が非常にあがります。ぜひ復活をお願いいたします。

  3. Overprint black: ignore groups

    This may be brought up elsewhere, but I've tried to give it a clear title.

    Currently, when setting overprint to 100k strokes (for example), Illustrator may not display/apply the overprint for grouped objects, making the user have to find the erroneous objects, then ungroup them.

    Overprint slows Ai down a lot, making this task a real headache, so it'd be lovely if this were sorted in the menu.

    Is there any way you can add a feature that would allow a novice screen printer the option to select a center mark and bleeds?

  5. Adding overprint toggles in the Separations Preview window

    Currently, the overprint toggles are only in the "Attributes" panel but the overprint preview toggle is in the Separations Preview panel. Including overprint toggles in the Separations Preview panel allows the user to see the overprints in the file and toggle off/on any visible overprints prior to exporting/printing. This would save on workspace real estate by choosing to exclude the Attributes panel solely for overprint toggles.

  6. Remember printer settings with Print Presets

    I have two sets of print settings-- ones that are program specific (Ex: created in Illustrator from the Print Presets window), and ones that are printer specific (Created in the Printer/Setup window within the Print dialog in Illustrator, InDesign, etc).

    In InDesign, if I create a print preset and then, via the Printer window, select an in-printer preset, InDesign remembers this choice and from then on printing with that InDesign preset will ALSO use that in-printer preset. In illustrator, that's not the case: Illustrator retains no memory of in-printer presets when creating in-program profiles, so I have to manually select…

  7. Different number of copies for each artboard

    Hi,

    I've a document in Illustrator with a lot of pages (artboards).

    I must print a specific number of copies for each page.

    Example: for the page number one I must print 20 copies, for the page two I must print 60 copies, ecc

    Is there a way to forward this request with one command or I must select one by one page?

    I've found this trick but is very complicated if I've a lot of pages to print: in the label of range of artboards I write : 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,5,5,5,5,5,ecc

    Can we save jpg in each color separation. because we can only see the separation in print preview but we can not save the jpg in each color.

  15. Guías inteligentes Illustrator

    (Español)Hola! Me gustaría que incluyeran en las próximas actualizaciones una manera que se puedan imprimir las guías inteligentes cuando creas un archivo Illustrator (ai.) y guardas como en (pdf.)     Fix the appearance of black overprint so that other colors are visible under solid black when overprint preview is on (unless I'm missing something, this used to work in older versions).

  18. Maintaining colour levels between PS & AI on linked files??

    Issue: linked PS(CMYK) file into AI(CMYK) appears in AI with difference colour values from the original PS file.

    Only way around it I was told by Adobe is to directly "open" the PS doc in AI not "place" to maintain the colour values. They also had told me that this is the expect behaviour of the software.

    I feel this is a serious flaw for files for print, I have always used AI to set up my packaging print files and never had an issue I think this must be a recent update.

    Does anyone known of a work around…

  19. Better Colour Separations

    Illustrator does not print all Photoshop DCS (.eps) colour separations since CS6. It always returns a blank plate.
    As a Screen printer, it would be nice to have seamless colour separations for my RIP.

  20. automatic trapping plug-in would be a great step forward.

    An automatic trapping feature, or a plug-in to that effect, would be of great convenience when submitting files for output.
