I hope CS5.6 sale
私はＣＳ３使用時の機能要望をいくつか取り入れて戴いたＣＳ５．５ユーザーです。
ＣＣは経済的負担が大きいので使っていません。
Ｗｉｎ１０にＣＳ５．５を入れましたが、特に問題なく使えています。
ＣＣになってからデザイン業界を除く個人ユーザーが更新しなくなり、
古いバージョンのまま使っているユーザーが多いのは認識されているはずです。
画面デザイン的に繫がりがあるのがＣＳ５．５までで、
ＣＳ６からは大きく変更になりました。
ＯＳが実質Ｗｉｎ１０だけになり、動作環境の面でバージョンアップを迫られているユーザーが多いはずですが、
それでもＣＣは無理と考える人が大多数です。
バージョンアップしたいユーザーが受け入れやすいＣＳ５．５をベースに、
パッケージ（売り切り）版を再販して貰えば、需要がある事は明らかです。
ここで、最低２つの機能改善を行い、ＣＳ５．６としてリリースしてはどうでしょう。
機能改善は、
１．描画編集中などにナビゲーター画面が逐一全画面更新され、データが重いとスマートガイドやコピー＆ペーストなどのキー動作が不安定になる。長い文字の入力編集中は特に酷い。これを極端な話、ナビゲータ画面に付けた「更新」ボタンを押すまで画面更新しなくていいようにする。
２．現状、文字の縁取りが文字の塗りの上になっているが、文字の塗りの下に設定できるようにする。これで一々「文字を全てコピー」「背面ペースト」「縁取り設定」をやらずに済む事になり、データが軽くなり、修正も楽になる。なぜ今までこれが出来ないのか不思議と思える基本的な機能です。1 vote -
回転させる時にある程度拡大しないと出来ないのを改善欲しい。
バウンディングボックスの角にカーソルを持って良いって回転させる時にある程度拡大しないと出来ないのを直して欲しい。昔は出来たような気がします。

Layer name suffix when pasting in XD (behaviour changed in 2020)
- Description:
When I copy and paste vectors from Illustrator 2020 to Adobe XD, suffix "1" is being added to each later.
This doesn't happen when I copy from Illustrator 2019 so I assume this have benn changed in Illustrator 2020, not XD.
- Why is this valuable to you?
I create all my icons in Illustrator but keep them in huge XD file so that devs can easily get them as SVGs.
With this additional suffix, my workflow is slower as I have to remove them each time I add new icon to XD file.

Expand selection
when I have something selected, I can shift+option click the art board somewhere else to expand my selection box and select everything between.

Notify me to update to the newest version when I'm not using the program
I often get the notification to update Illustrator when I'm in the middle of a project. I'd be more apt to update if I received the notification when I am not using the program.

Modify the open dialog (icons views)
Modify the file open dialog when the view is one of the icons views so that it displays a thumbnail of the file itself rather than the generic AI icon. I frequently want to open an Illustrator file in a folder that contains LOTS of illustrator files ("Owl 15, Owl 16, etc). At that point I have to stop and bring up Bridge so I can see that the owl with the glasses is number 23. I'd open it with Bridge, but that doesn't work when Illustrator is already open. Maybe fix THAT bug while you're at it ;-)

Edit Character properties in a mixed selection
When having a complex set of objects selected, including one ore more Text Objects, it would be nice to have access to the Character/Paragraph properties.
Current version simply ignores any changes when something else is selected besides a Text Object.

keyboard unable to type words when running
Once I run the Illustator, my keyboard unable to type words, and the mouse arrow keeps running the loading icon. I uninstall the version of 23.0.6 and installed 23.0.5, now it looks fine.

Student Subscription for Individual Apps
There should be a student subscription for individual apps.
I only need illustrator, but $20 a month for one app is still overwhelming for a student, especially since I don’t get paid for the work I do on the app. It wouldn’t make sense to spend so much on the Creative Cloud just to use one app. 60% off, like Creative Cloud, would be much appreciated, but even 40-50% would do.

Allow auto update scheduling
The auto update feature is nice, but it might become a bit of a hassle as you need to close the apps to update.
I would propose to have a drop down option to allow the Adobe CC suite to
Download the updates on the background and then ask when to install, thus not getting in the way of on going work
More importantly, allow an scheduling of said background download, so it can be downloaded during the least network stressed time of the day.

Trying to cancel my free trial, no option in my account or through AI
Not able to cancel a free trial, how is this accomplished, your customer service had no idea.

. I needed to create a sticker or litho wrap around a bucket and a cup. I needed a tool that allows me to put in the circumference of a top circle and a bottom of the circle and the size of the side between the top and bottom.

Previous versions of illustrator showed the id of individual elements within layers in the layers window
Previous versions of Illustrator would show the id of individual elements within layers in the layers window. Now they just show as "path" or "compound path." I generate maps as svg files from a database with a program of my own design and then import them into Illustrator for final editing. Sometimes there is a problem with one or more elements. Before I could go to Illustrator, select the problem element, and see in the layers window what its id was. Then I could go to my database and fix the problem. I can't do this anymore. Too small to use?
When scaling down a complex drawing especially one created by image trace it often says cannot complete the operation because it would make some objects too small to use. So how can i scale my group? Can you just disappear those objects? If they are too small to use they must be too small to see so make them go away. Or it could automatically select them so you have the option to delete them. It seems silly that i can't make something the size i need because a part of it is too small to…1 vote
