Zoom to selection disable button please
A simple disable button for this new feature, i've been using illustrator for over 20 years and this is one of my most used key commands and i'm being driven close to madness. Thanks

This option is available in the latest shipping version 22.0.
It is present in Preferences > Section & Anchor Display > Zoom to Selection -
Make Path Direction Attribute editable for non compound paths too
In vector graphics, every path har a direction. This direction has major influence in several situations, suchs as variable width strokes, object on path, and compound paths. Unfortunattely the path direction can only be accesses/changed when the path is part of a compound path. Please make the attributen changeable for every path.

The Flip buttons in the Properties panel should copy objects
In the Transform section of the Properties panel there are Flip vertical and Flip horizontal buttons.
When holding down Alt while pressing the buttons it would be convenient if they could copy the object, like InDesign does.

Batch Generation on Gen Ai (text-to-vector) Features
Do you know something that would be cool?
Some script only for testing purposes, or maybe this could be a feature.The script could generate all the 5 levels of Detail of Text-to-Vector
(and/or all levels of any feature that have or will have intensity control)I mean generating 5 copies, each one with the one of the 5 levels of the detail. and keep the other settings as the same for all the generations.
(the same for other gen ai features)I do this manually, but I will be very happy with a feature that does this for me.…

Illustrator Waterfall Charts - support positive & negative values
Currently, when trying to create a waterfall chart in Illustrator, you can't have values go above & below the zero axis. If you try to enter positive and negative values in one line of the data table, you get an error (Can't create the graph. Each stacked column must contain all positive or negative data.).
This is needed by lots of Artworkers, especially in Annual Reports, etc.

Clear guides should delete guides in transparency masks too
Just took me ages to work out why i couldnt remove guides from a file and discovered they existed only within various transparency masks and had to go through each mask individually to remove them. Clear guides feature should remove those too, surely?!

Share and Review for Illustrator (email notification designation)
Hi Adobe team,
I Co-own and Creative Direct at a small design agency of about 12 people. Myself and my design team are loving the Share and Review feature as it is saving us so much time in our presentation prep on client work. There is one thing though that would make our lives even better (and the life of our project manager). We would love for there to be a feature where you can designate where the notification emails go to when comments are made. Add search to the History panel
With 100 or more states showing in the panel, it would be helpful to have a search field. Type in Graphic styles, merge, drop shadow, or whatever the label is to find it. Not sure if it's possible to highlight all of the matches, like all states labeled graphic style - or if there would be an arrow button to let you page through all graphic style states it finds.

Data feature within illustrator
It is possible to merge data from excel, but it would also be a fantastic feature to have an excel feature within illustrator. You can fill a table with datasets and link the data to elements multiple times in different artboards. To change an element everywhere you just need to change it in the table (like objects, but only the data). So several different text boxes and different links to imported images can be edited at once. Would be a great feature for all different sizes for Social Media posts. Also, Illustrator will be able to increase its target customers. I have been using illustrator to create floor plans of building with much ease and lesser time than other software. This software has user friendly interface. So, please make it more suitable for technical drawings. Adding features to calculate area will also be very useful.

同一アピアランス＋類似形状のものを一括選択をで選択状態になった場合、レイヤー分などのデータ編集のしやすさが向上すると考えます。
特に、添付のような総柄のデータを編集する際に、
個々のオブジェクトの整理がより簡便にできると考えております。現状、類似形状のオブジェクトを編集することはできるが、編集したのちにレイヤー分したり、コピーして貼り付けすることはできない仕様だと思いますので、ご検討のほど、よろしくお願いいたします。

Select multiple identical objects and make each its own group.
I'd love to see a feature in which you could select a bunch of similar objects, each of which had multiple parts, and it would automatically make each individual object into its own group. For example, I just drew an oval with a line down the middle - which is a leaf. I copied and pasted it 100 times but didn't make it into it's own group first (oops). If I could just select them all and make each it's own group, it would save me going back and grouping them first and doing it all again. They're a pain…

The Named Views feature should be expanded for more names, listed alphabetically, and be more easily editable..
The Named Views feature is under developed. It is useful for complex drawings with several Artboards and many layers. Its functionality can include several categories of the Illustrator program. Attached is a file with several points of improvement.

Send proof to customer
We proof every item to customers before printing. It would be great if there was a tool to send a proof that could be approved through all common design programs. Giving the customer the ability to submit for changes and do a final approval before the job goes to print.

Print Nesting
Illustrator needs the ability to perform efficient object nesting. This would greatly help in making files for printing and cutting as well as saving loads of time. Please add nesting to Illustrator!

Distribute objects doesn't work properly now
Illustrator updated the other day (as did Photoshop and InDesign). When I select a group of objects to distribute evenly it changes the overall area to something much more narrow. I am now having to place each object by hand. Please fix.
