commentedI really hope they add a lock soon. Being able to customize the tool bar is a great feature, why they stopped short without being able to lock is a mystery.

commentedConcur with this previous post: I love it when my tools randomly get grouped with the perspective tool and I have to mess around trying to turn that off too!

commentedSOOOOOOO annoying! Who even requested this feature, you basically get used to getting the tools from where they 'live', and now they have no 'home'. I'm constantly wondering where a certain tool went. I have co-workers and superiors screenshare with me and it's very frustrating for work flow when I can't find a tool. Is it saving that much time to have the most frequently used tools grouped together? Maybe, but NOT when they're never in the same place!!

commentedYes - Started means they are now fixing it. For the longest it just said they will be addressing it in an update.

commentedGlad to see I'm not the only one being driven nuts by the new customisable toolbar! Adobe please fix this.
It's bad enough that the latest CC2019 was full of bugs and problems when it launched, let alone that the updates are just annoying and don't seem to benefit the user. Completely agree, this should be made a preference rather than a default OR have a lock option to prevent loss of productivity.

commentedTHIS IS THE FASTEST GROWING THREAD BY FAR. NEARLY 300 VOTES IN 2 MONTHS. OTHER IDEAS WITH SIMILAR NUMBERS OF VOTES HAVE BEEN AROUND OVER A YEAR! WHY AREN'T ADOBE PUTTING THIS RIGHT WITH IMMEDIATE AFFECT? REALLY POOR. WE DON'T WANT TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT UPDATE. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM!!!

commentedSimply marking it as 'started' without an explanation is vague at best. It would be nice to get an idea of the priority of it.

commentedNo.. "Started" means they are ignoring it and going on to the next project..

commentedMine seem to keep switching around or disappearing, too. I right-clicked on the ********** tool and it allowed me to bring it back to life. I don't recall typing any shortcuts or clicking to make it disappear, so not sure what's happening!

commentedI've had enough. Switching to CC 2018 to save my sanity. This is so bad I'm even considering Illustrator competitors.

commentedSame as Lost of disappointed users: I gave up and reinstalled the previous version. This was not worth the stress... Well done Adobe, you've managed to make us all miserable...

commentedI gave up and went back to CC 2018 because I was wasting so much time hunting for tools which had moved. Unbelievably annoying and *such* a relief when I went back to 2018 which stopped the problem.

commentedThis is not acceptable. We cannot wait any longer for this issue to be fixed! We are all trusting Adobe to deliver a fully reliable product so we can provide professional services to our clients. I cannot understand why Adobe would think it's ok to release a new version which is not working properly. We are wasting so much time with this bug and Adobe is loosing our trust rapidly. Act now!
