TJ commented Just upgraded to 23.0.1 and this issue is STILL happening. Watching closely, I've actually seen it occur — you click on a tool and suddenly the pallate rearranges itself. ADOBE FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

commentedIn complete agreement with everyone here. This problem needs to be remedied urgently. It's so frustrating, and counter productive at present!!!! Adobe please listen & change....

commentedI'd like to add my voice. Needs to be a way to lock. I welcome the ability to customise but I think so many people are going to end up losing tools or accidentally grouping their selection options (as I did) and end up slowing down their workflows.

commentedI would suggest everyone install back the previous version and used it first and wait till adobe resolve the issues and update a better one so that the toolbar can be lock whereby the icons wouldn't be moving around. I have restore back the previous version and using it for a time being. Waiting adobe to resolve it. Hope the admin is looking at our thread and problems that we are facing.

commentedI'm considering going back to a previous version because this is such a bad problem. I can't believe that Adobe would give so little thought to this upgrade. It's incredibly disappointing that i'll have to lose out on using other new upgrades because i'm being hurt so badly by this toolbar mess. How did you not consider making something that LOCKS so that tools don't move.

The new customizable toolbar is awful! My workflow has slowed by more than half. I spend half my time searching for tools that keep moving / hiding / disappearing. There are also certain shortcut keys that make tools move. I resent the toolbar 17 times the other day...it's the only way to get back to what i'm used to. I can't believe that no one gave any though to how this might hurt existing users. How did you not think there should be a way to lock all tools in place for those who would want things to stay in the same positions. The whole concept of the toolbar and shortcuts is to speed up your workflow as you memorize positions and key combinations. This really is a horrible thing that you've done. I've never been unhappy with anything adobe has done...until now. I'm miserable and so upset that you gave so little thought to your existing customers. This needs to be corrected asap. I can't wait 6 months for you to correct this. I'm being destroyed at work because my work has slowed so much. Really unhappy with this.

commentedTemp reset/fix is to switch from "Advanced" to "Basic" and back... But it seems to be randomly popping back to the jumping around. Should be fixed fast, I am back at CC 2018 for this issue.
